Bruegger's Bagels

This place has great bagels. They have a nice Selection of bagels and cream cheese spreads. I haven’t noticed any dairy free or gluten free for those with sensitive diets, you may have to ask if they have those options. We’ve come here for years for bagels. The restrooms could use some attention, yet it is lunch time and it was busy. They are short staffed like everybody else in business, so if you complain, then grab an application and turn it in.

I normally like the bagel sandwiches, but will not be returning. Staff seemed to be distracted doing other things in the back. When I got home with the sandwiches for both my husband and I, and was halfway through my sandwich, I noticed the egg had some green coloring on it. I threw it away. Not sure if it was the egg or something else within the sandwich, but we’ve been dealing with stomach issues all day.

I don't know WHAT to say. I went there last Saturday around 10am and they were closed! No sign, nothing. I went back Sunday and the line was LONG! They only had 1 person taking counter orders and 2 making up the mobile orders. I was in line for over a half an hour. I'm giving them 5 stars, because they stated professional, friendly, and made sure my order was correct! I will definitely go back!!

Worst Bruegger's Bagels experience my cousin and I have ever had. Before, it was very good but this time it is very low quality. It wasn't busy. The workers were very rude and impatient. Many ingredients weren't available. Almost every topping seems like it has an upcharge. Would not reccomend, better off going somewhere else for your money and with better service.

The experience was underwhelming, though the bagels were great! I have fond memories of Brueggers from when I was in college and the only Brueggers in the city where I currently live closed long ago, so it was a treat when I was passing through Des Moines. The staff at this Brueggers were present, but you wouldn't have known it, and I stood waiting for several minutes before anyone acknowledged me, and the person who did was not the person who I stood in front of for 5 minutes being ignored, but a staff person I approached at the register who sent me back in line to the person I stood in front of for 5 minutes without being acknowledged. That person still didn't acknowledge me, but at least another person came from the kitchen and took my order. Three more customers came in after me, all of whom were immediately helped by the staff who ignored me and all of whom were in and out of the restaurant before my order was taken and completed. I couldn't have been inadvertently wearing the invisibility cloak from Harry Potter, because at least two other staff people saw and interacted with me. I thought possibly the first staff person, who wouldn't acknowledge me might have some vendetta against me, though that explanation didn't really make sense because they appeared under 20-years-old and it was at least that long ago that I moved away. The bagels I ordered were delicious, though.
