Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant

My family visited on a Friday evening. My son ordered a crunchy beef taco & beans. Every time we order this, the kitchen always lays the taco in the beans & the shell gets all soggy. Also while he was eating we discovered a long metal string from a scrubbing pad. One of the staff came out & apologized & asked if we wanted a replacement. Yes of course we did. That was my son's dinner. I am grateful that they replaced the meal but it would have been nice IF they comped his small dollar meal. We really have enjoyed their food in the past but I feel like the quality has gone down in the past year.

Called ahead for our group of 15 on a Sat. evening and they had a table ready for us. Caring, attentive staff made sure we were satisfied. Food came out incredibly fast. Delicious and huge portions. Very reasonably priced. Definitely will be back! Get the carnitas--absolutely massive portion, could literally be 3 meals. And the Texas dip is good too!
