Less greasy than KFC, tastes just as good, costs less!
My first time going to Mr Chicken! I did not regret it! I got a Chicken Mashed Potato Bowl Combo with pink lemonade and fries! Everything was nice and hot and fresh! Nicest Employees too! Very Clean Building! Good Job Mr Chicken!
I love this Mr Chicken. I usually go to the one on Ridge. My fried okra was perfect not greesy or oily. The gentleman with the long bread with a little grey in it Rocked his customer service skill set. The Martin's thank him for a positive fast food experience in such a world where good customer service is fading fast. FYI: when music is playing in the background it makes it hard for the customer to place an order please remember this is a place of business not your car or home.
I'm not go lie I have never tried Mr. Chicken before because I was always eating at Popeye or kfc, but I told myself, You know what after all these years of not trying Mr. Chicken, let me give them a try......😳 why I waited so long to try this place out omg! The seasoning on the chicken was so good, the chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! I will be back for another round. Sorry for not trying you guys out sooner.
Ms. Brenda & Sonja are really great and helped me place a large order on late notice. They prepared the food quickly and assisted me with getting everything in order. Thank you - I will absolutely be back!
This Mr Chicken has mix reviews. When the A Team is working it's excellent service and food. When it's the B- to C team oh well. Especially on Wednesday you might have a better chance on other days.
The people here were so helpful in ordering and made me smile the entire time (and laughed a lot as well). The chicken fire, man….and it smells like heaven as you walk close….
The last time I was here was five years ago. It was horrible. The wings were tiny and overcooked. I took a chance and I was pleasantly surprised. The crew member was pleasant, the food was still warm when I got home and it was delicious. This was the Mr. Chicken that I remember and the one my Dad loved.
I've been coming to this location since they were on Northfield. The chicken is always seasoned and fried to perfection. This is the first time I ordered through Door Dash. My order was correct. I had a 4 whole wing dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and corn bread. The mashed potatoes had way too much gravy, but it was well seasoned. The green beans were cold and bland. The corn muffin was perfect. Fluffy, slightly sweet and perfectly baked. I also got their fried apple pies. They were hot, well balanced with cinnamon and flaky.
Their bowls are huge and enough for 2 servings. Their fried okra and corn nuggets are crispy and not greasy. Their Cole Slaw is slightly sweet and crunchy. The funnel cake fries are crispy and sweet without being greasy as well. Their sweet tea is good...not too sweet.
I miss their yams and greens. Please bring them back!
Just moved to Ohio and wanted to try something we didn't have in Florida, so drove past the KFC and Popeyes and went right to Mr Chicken! Today was the Wednesday special, I see it must be their busiest day! I got a 4 piece tender, biscuit, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes, the biscuit was delicious! The chicken cooked perfectly, still steaming, and creamy mac and cheese. I received amazing service from Sonja ( I see from other reviews that this woman is an asset!) She was running the drive-thru and cash register simultaneously and flawlessly! The gentlemen cooking were very polite also. The front was nearly spotless clean, which for being as busy as it looked was very nice. Everyone working there seems very happy! Will definitely stop in again! Tha KS forthe great food!
Their food was surprisingly good 👍. I hadn't eaten there in a few years, but I stopped in on a fluke for the Wednesday special a 3 piece with mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and a biscuit for about 7.50. The meat was really good.
