Clean and well-maintained property with a restaurant and bar downstairs! Each time I have visited here at the pool, sauna and hot tub are all working properly.
I've always found my room to be clean and well-maintained and the staff friendly. They also offer a free shuttle service to and from nearby businesses! Unbelievable rates considering their location! I absolutely intend to stay here again!
The room was nice. They delivered a fridge to our room for my wife's breast milk which we were very grateful for. There was a sewage odor near the elevators that was unpleasant but did not impact our room. Valet area is on a busy street so parking was a challenge. Nice stay overall though. The bed was comfortable.
The front desk staff is incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay tremendously. I surprised my husband for our 17th anniversary with the stay and Indians game tickets. The room was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. The hotel is centrally located so we walked everywhere and that was a nice bonus. The breakfast at the restaurant was very good and I loved talking to the chef in the mornings. The only complaint I would have is not with the hotel itself but with the bartender on Saturday evening. She was not very personable and people had to wait or even hunt her down for drinks. Being in the service industry myself, I saw the potential for her to make money and impress possible return guests go down the drain. Over all a wonderful experience!
The staff here is fantastic! Everyone has been exceedingly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are nice, and they are clean. All in all, I am perfectly satisfied. My only two (minor) complaints are that the best parking is in a garage around the corner (not a real big deal, but you might want to spring for valet in Winter), and plug placement in the rooms (only on one side of the bed in mine). I would definitely stay here again. It is awesome to just walk across the street to go to the theater!
The furniture was a little worn, and the room was neat, but needed a little deep cleaning. The hotel was convenient and close to all of the downtown activities we were engaging in. The staff, however, deserve far more than five stars. They were pleasant and accommodating, from the valet and front desk to housekeeping. I have never yet been in a hotel where every single employee treated me kindly and graciously until this experience.
To the staff: your kindness and hospitality will bring me back to your hotel the next time I am booking in Cleveland. Thank you!
Location was perfect. Just across the street from the wedding I was attending. Unfortunately due to full booking, they did not offer early check in, but do offer to hold luggage if you arrive prior to check in time.
Breakfast was very tasty and room service was quick.

The Wyndham Playhouse Square became a Crowne Plaza on September 1, 2017, All the guest rooms have been renovate and they were in the process of renovating the restaurants, lobby, etc. The room was beautiful, but a refrigerator needs to be requested ahead of time and there was not a safe in the room. My only complaint was housekeeping which was awful. When we arrived 12 midnight and stayed 2 days and experienced 1 cleaning. Upon arrival, the bathtub was dirty will little curly hairs if you know what I mean. The only cleaning saw no new towels, shampoo, coffee was not replenished and the 2 trashcans were left by the front door still full. Valet Parking was $28/night unlimited in/out. If you don't plan on using your car, there are lots as low as $7 within 2 blocks. We almost did that and were told that if we got out car prior to 6 pm the last night we wouldn't be charged. Well, we were. But they removed it from our bill. The staff was nice, but didn't seem to know a whole lot about restaurants etc. Also, there was only 1 shuttle to service the entire hotel. If you put your name in to reserve, you'll get it, otherwise, you may wait a while so have your uber app ready.
This place is great! The staff is friendly, place is clean and room is comfy. We had reservations through HotelTonight and they reserve a room with double queen beds, but by the time we checked in, the hotel didn't have any rooms with double queen beds. Instead they upgraded us to a suite! The suite is cute, had bunk beds, table and chairs for children, king size bed, tv by the bunk beds as well as tv by the king size bed. The bathroom was a decent size, definitely enough space to get ready. We had a great experience.
I had a great experience at The Wyndham Cleveland at Playhouse Square. Valet Parking was quick and friendly. The front desk was helpful and friendly. "Rosie" was wonderful! She helped me to my room with all of my luggage, brought me a refrigerator, microwave, and extra towels and wash cloths that I asked for while being very pleasant! The hotel itself was inviting and clean! I would definitely return!
Awesome location, right in the middle of downtown. The room was HUGE, I think the largest room I've ever stopped in! The lighting is very well thought through - you have the light for every situation you can wish for - reading, romantic, daylight. A large couch with TV at the entrance, than another small couch
