Kind of in a food desert. Decent food, nothing fancy (or expensive). Nice service. Usually the bartender handling lunch service. Good place for casual lunches. They also do sports—Browns games, e.g.—although I haven’t been. Warning! The local police between the highway (77) and the spot are notorious for speed traps and use photo tickets. Just stay at 9 over the limit or less and you’ll be fine.

Great service is the draw here. The food is typical bar fare with a bit of comfort and creativity added. Drinks are solid. Rest rooms clean. Great place to wind down or turn up.

I work nearby to the Brick House and go to lunch with co-workers 1~2 a week and have nothing but good things to say. The bartenders are friendly, talkative and usually very attentive. The Brick House offers daily specials at a reasonable price (usually around $6) and the food is consistently good. They carry a wide selection of bottled beers that should accommodate any taste (including my own affinity for craft brews!) Definitely worth the trip if you are in the surrounding area. @first reviewer - I cannot imagine what could have happened during your visit to merit 1 star but can virtually guarantee it was a fluke. I have only had average service once or twice and the food has been consistently above average.

I have been going to the Brick House for almost a decade. Great food and great people can be found in this Slavic Village gem. Debbie is the BEST bartender around and can always remember what your favorite refreshment is. Kudos!
