Cash Only. This place is good. It had vegetarian options (always a plus). I got a huge, loaded greek salad that was extremely filling. The only downside is it is cash only and no one mentioned this till I noticed a tiny notecard taped by the cash register.
Consistent good service. Solid breakfast, reasonably priced. A great local restaurant that we go to almost weekly. Non stop coffee at breakfast, but you are never rushed out the door, even when breakfast is busy. A family favorite.
Absolutely everything you could want from a family-owned diner! Fast and friendly service. Breakfast basics cooked well and very affordable! Vegetarian Eggs Benedict and Biscuits and Gravy were both great!
We were here on vacation and was looking for breakfast so we stopped here because we like momma and papa places. It was really busy and there is 5 of us(3 kids 2 adults) so I figured there would be a wait but we walked in and got sat down right away. We got our drinks and then ordered our breakfast. The wife and my oldest daughter had the French toast platter. They loved it our other 2 kids had the kids pancakes. They liked it. I had the country omelet and I really liked it. The food didn't take long at all to come to us. We will definitely be back next time we are in town
I've been coming to Katherine's the last 3 years usually weekly. Biweekly at minimum. This place is the quintessential breakfast diner experience. Their food is always great and the service is fast and efficient. Katherine's reminds me of a breakfast spot my grandpa used to take me in the 80s. It's simple and welcoming here. I truly love it and highly recommend you give it a try!

This is a fairly sized restaurant that can accommodate groups of 1-12 pretty easily. Although, if there are 4 or 5 of you, there are a lot more areas to sit. The service was really good. One server took care of quite a few tables without any issue whatsoever.
The food was standard breakfast fare with nothing unique or over the top from other breakfast places. That being said, the portions are very large compared to other places we have been. The food came out fast and hot, which is something I like to see.
One other thing I look for in a breakfast place is the coffee/drink service. And here that was not an issue at all. The coffee kept coming from the exact moment we sat down till we left, without ever asking once for a refill. Some places you have to trip the server to get their attention, but not here.
This place is located a very short drive from Interstate 71 and easily spotted from the street with good signage. If you are in the area and looking for a breakfast/lunch place, this is worth a try.
Food was very good and service was quick and efficient. I understand we came an half hour before closing, however, it is not polite to try too pick up my plate while there is still food on it and ask if I am done eating while the dishwasher is standing there waiting.
Made it in less than an hour before closing on a Sunday. They served us, no problem. Full menu. Had the reuben, zucchini fries, and cabbage soup. Good stuff. Good service
Their eggs Benedict was amazing! Our waitress was nice, a little slow, but nice. The only reason for 4 stars is the coffee. Their coffee pots need replaced! They were super stained. I worked in restaurants, they need replaced. The coffee was not good. But, that was the negative. Will definitely go back!
We stopped in for breakfast after a late night with friends and on the way to the rock n roll hall of Fame. A friend told us the breakfast was great. They were so right! Great food, cute restaurant, and an amazing start to the day!
Monte cristo and club sandwich were both very delicious. Service was exceptional and very quick.
