I had such a great night tonight! My wife and I each really enjoyed our meals. I got the Salmon and she got the striped bass. Our server actually cared about us and made us feel welcome. The wine was great and I'm upset I didn't have room for desert. Thanks to the fabulous chef and to Andrew who took great care of us.
Great Experience.. I really enjoyed the place. It had a nice local feel. Definitely not your run of the mill chain restaurant. Our service was great, nice waiter. The alcohol was reasonably priced. Everyone at my table was quite pleased with what they ordered (Steak Sandwhich, Fish and Chips, Burgers). I will definitely be going back.
Mrs. Fitts. I had a Walleye entree that was amazing. Cooked to absolute perfection, piping hot when arrived at my table and accompanied by the most scrumptious cheese grits. Such a great pairing.
Atmosphere was warm and relaxing. Priced to make every guest happy!
My Family Celebrate 🥂 My Brother 59th yesterday. The Staff was excellent and went overboard to make our celebration 🎉🎈 special. We where able to get a reservation at the last minute. So check them out. Also the food was wonderful. Peace 🕊️
Went for dinner and we sat outside. I didn't even go to the bathroom so, I have no idea what the facility looks like inside. I think our server was the only one. He handle everybody. He was decent though. My fiance thought the food came out slow but he'd been there in the past. Pre-covid etc... we ordered tavern wings in BBQ and honey heat and a bacon cheddar burger. Those wings are huge! Wow! And the honey great was amazing. I didn't try the BBQ but we got 25 wings so we took some home. I think I'll go again!
For someone nostalgic for a clubby, late 50s atmosphere, comfortable decor, delicious and affordable food, with regular clientele from the neighborhood, this is you place. The owners are familiar and friendly, but not intrusive. I've been here a number of times and have never been disappointed, but service was really slow at different times. As I wasnt in a hurry it didn't matter, but you may need to mention your schedule if you're due somewhere. We always look forward to dining here. Some evenings there is a jazz combo that is top notch.
I was pleasantly surprised today!! My past experiences had not been particularly good however, this time was WONDERFUL!
The servers were capable, professional and friendly; the food was very good (best buffalo chicken salad I have had in a long time); and the atmosphere was well suited to our group.
We will be returning again soon!
One of my favorite Taverns in Ohio! Excellent service, knowledgeable waitstaff, and excellent selections for any drink you would prefer. Try to stop by here whenever I’m in the Cleveland Area. If you like a bar with an old school and Dom feel to it, look no further. You’ll appreciate this spot.
I go to hear the Jazz Jam on Monday night. It is an amazing night of music with emphasis on music from the 20s through the 50s. There is no cover charge. The food is good, the drinks are potent, and the staff and clientele are friendly. I keep going back on Mondays. I have also enjoyed it on other days the week when there is no music and can recommend it as a nice place to meet a friend for a drink. But the music on Mondays makes it special
We stopped in as out of town guests to attend a family party and we were looking to purchase gift certificates for the Larchmere Tavern as it is known to be the favorite destination place for the party guests of honor. After we purchased the certificate we asked the Owner, Fred, for directions back to our hotel....and he said. "You walked here!"....when we said we did he refused to let us walk back, instead he drove us personally back to the hotel. No wonder our family loves going to this lovely restaurant on the hill...this attention to customer service speaks volumes about the Owner and his restaurant. Thank you Fred!
Larchmere Tavern is the place to go on a chilly day when you need something warm and tasty. Good food with some interesting selections. Friendly service. I don’t drink alcohol but the folks around us seemed to enjoy the libations.
food is always good and flavorful. nice atmosphere with live music every Monday. get on the mailing list to be notified about specials and events. has tv in the bar area as well if you want to watch sports
Great selection of American fare and Seafood. Great service as well as an elegant and classy atmosphere! Awesome place to eat dinner or just pop in for a drink or appetizers during lunch. Check it out.
