Cock & Bull Public House Clifton

First time ever at any Cock & Bull. Was in Clifton getting my hair done by Brandy Bang Bang Salon up the street. The hostesses were not very helpful when we came in, we asked if we could sit on the patio and they said sure you can go out there. We asked how to get out there(our first time there), they said well you can get there from outside or walk that way and pointed toward the back of the restaurant. I thought that was really rude especially considering after we found our way by ourselves to the patio, I seen one of the hostesses walk a couple out there w menus & silverware! We never got menus or an escort onto the patio or silverware. Our waitress brought our menus & silverware and she was very helpful and we enjoyed our experience after the hostess incident. We enjoyed a quick dinner on a game night(not a full menu bummer). I have a severe gluten allergy and they were very accommodating even on a busy night, the waitress was able to get me steamed veggies as a side w my burger w no bun! We sat on the patio at the counter area. Only thing was maybe a foot ledge for your feet instead of resting your feet on the stools and hooks to hang your handbag would've been awesome. The counter/bar was a great height with the stools(I'm not very tall). We didn't use the bathrooms so no comment there. Plenty of tvs to view and get all your sports, news etc. The dining room and patio were very clean. I still gave the place a 5⭐️ review despite the incident with the hostesses. Food was excellent, burgers were cooked perfectly, iced tea was very good. We will def be back not on a game night & for the full menu and drinks! Thanks again!!
