Baseball. Hot dogs. Apple pie. Fireworks. Pickup trucks. Kentucky bourbon. George Washington. All iconic Americana! What’s missing from this list? Macaroni and cheese! Seriously, though. I’ve rarely attended a potluck dinner that did not include someone’s homemade version of mac and cheese. As a kid, getting Kraft Mac and Cheese as a meal was a huge deal! I’ve heard students debate which box brand is better: Kraft or Velveeta. We love our mac and cheese . . . especially when that mac and cheese comes from Keystone Bar & Grill (Covington, Clifton, Hyde Park).
When I first saw the rating I was hesitant to come here, I was completelty wrong. I have never had mac and cheese this good. Besides an obvious recomendation of the mac and cheese, the home made chips with some barbeque was unbelieveable. Would definetly come back.
This was much better than expected. The wings were awesome and so were the buffalo bites. Even though they're known for their Mac and cheese, I wasn't blown away, it was defiantly good, but that's it. We'll be back for sure!
The Mac & Cheese is always amazing and a great choice. $9 for the Mac is a little expensive so go on Monday when it's half off. Although, if any Mac is worth $9, it's this Mac. Service could be a lot better.
This is a great place for brunch. They have an amazing breakfast sandwich and they always have fresh fruit. Their "huevos rancheros" breakfast great as well. Don't forget a mango mimosa or a Bloody Mary while here, because they do it right!
Before you order.... I wasn't going to write a review, but after reading the previous reviewer (Doug), I had to stop people from wasting their money/dinner on the Reuben'dilla. I had this menu item last week, and it is truly one of the worst items I've ordered in a restaurant. The Quesadillas have their own tab in the menu (like the famous mac & cheese), so I figured that they were a specialty of the house. So you'd expect, like the mac & cheese, for there to be funky combinations, so I got the Reuben'dilla. Yuck! For a $9.99 quesadilla, I almost expect the cheese to be melty, not congealed. But even if it had been, it would not have been good. It's just a bad menu item.
Other than that, I think it's just a shade too expensive ($4.50 for a bottle of Yuengling?). I like the Covington location, so I'll probably just keep going there. Atmosphere on Erie is a little too yuppy for my taste.
Wow, the rueben quesadilla and the powerhouse Mac n cheese are an orgasmic carb mind scramble (apparently the salads are good too. Loved it, will be back.
Amazing macaroni dinner at Keystone. Just went there today at 5PM on a Monday night. We were promptly greeted at the door and our waiter Sean (or Shawn) was excellent and informative, as well as the other waiter and busser that talked to us as well. The BB King and buffalo macaroni's were excellent and half off because it's Monday. I'm not sure how the establishment was before based off the past reviews, but on a weeknight such as Monday I couldn't imagine better. Thanks Keystone and staff
Great time and AMAZING place for a party. My wife and I had our baby shower upstairs at Keystone Hyde Park. They were beyond gracious in meeting our requests and helping us plan the event. We were concerned about parking for our guests and they even worked out a deal for us with the valet! We were able to offer our guests an open bar with an amazing spread of food without going broke ;). Not only will we be going back for dinner/drinks but I will be looking to host both personal and business events there. Thanks to Dan and his entire staff for a super fun time. BTW...a baby shower with Bells and Buffalo Mac n Chz makes for much more fun than silly games and finger foods....
Keystone is awesome and abigail is one of the best servers I've ha - great food and beer selection. Make sure to ask for Abigail the next time you come
The food was great. The servers were awesome!! I got the grilled chicken, ham and bacon croissant and it was the bomb. My husband got the Impossible Veggie burger and he said it was on of the best ones he tasted so far.
Visiting from Illinois! Outside seating was pretty busy, but inside seating on a Friday night was pretty dead. It took a little too long for service for my liking. The Pink Floyd Mac and cheese was excellent! My husband had the Powerhouse Mac and cheese. The bleu cheese was VERY overpowering. We tried their BBQ sauce which was AMAZING. The owner had the lights VERY dim which made it hard to see much of anything. Skillet cookie was delicious but very rich! Overall good experience!
Fairly good, the brunch menu was a little limited. The BB King mac was delicious. The Soutwest potato crisps (hashbrowns) weren't very flavorful, it had chorizo and jalapenos but had no heat whatsoever to it.
Great location and really good lunch menu. Mimosas are tasty and come in lotsa flavors, but would like to see more of a brunch menu. Food takes a bit to come out also, but worth the wait.
We went to Jungle Jim's on a whim. Afterwards, we wanted something for dinner. A random Google search later and we were headed to Keystone. The sweet tea and lemonade were cool and refreshing. Emma did a fantastic job keeping our glasses full and checking up on us! We tried Poutine for an appetizer and OMG I am embarrassed to say it was devastated by my boyfriend and I. It's DELICIOUS! We both had macaroni and cheese variations (mine was the BB King). Delicious! The portions are great, service is fantastic, the patio is clean and comfortable. We will absolutely be back soon to our new favorite Cincinnati restaurant!!!!
Tasty buffalo sauce on a grilled mac n’ cheese burger. The fries are SUPAR good!!! Chicken quesadilla was pretty delicious, too. The food does not disappoint. Service was great!
I like the idea of the mac and cheese waffles. I wish the wings were more fresh and the waffles were made at the spot as well. Overall not too bad.
They had amazing food and a very friendly atmosphere. My wife and I are planning on coming back just for the buffalo bites.
Went with a large party on Saturday for a late birthday lunch. Food was great, I ordered the a chicken club on a croissant 🥐. It was good. Fries were cold, has to order them on the side so requested hot ones and they let me keep the cold ones and bought out new. Other than thy very accommodating and pleasant service.
Good food. Interesting atmosphere with pictures of old movie stars on the walls. Service was very good . I got the 3 slider combo which I really liked. My companion got the mac n cheese with brisket. He thought it was a little light on the brisket. Good beer selection.
