This is my favorite pizza in Cincinnati. Before moving to Cincinnati I spent my entire life in New Jersey/New York so don't get all defensive but it's hard to find good pizza in this part of the world. I've been an avid fan of Fireside since first discovering the pizza trailer at Covington Maifest in 2011. The trailer was at the festival for 3 days and I had it each day. I was so pumped when I learned a restaurant location was being set up so I wouldn't have to chase the trailer from festival to festival. I go here about once a week for a 9 inch pie with red sauce, provolone/mozzarella mix, and fresh basil. Simple but great every time. The staff is friendly and attentive but not overbearing for a pizza joint. There is a lot to like about this place as people have mentioned - neighborhood, old firehouse, albums for table markers, draft beer selection, etc. I love all that too so please by all means come and enjoy the unique location and experience. But the real action is the pizza. This pizza is seriously tasty. I highly recommend eating the pizza from the pizza trailer should you ever encounter it. Its slightly different than the restaurant so give it a try. Great folks run the trailer so stop and say hello. See you in a few days. Thank you Fireside.

The food was great, the space amazing, and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Annie made a great beer and pizza recommendation that was spot on. They had a good mix of local beer and good quality liquors. I felt like one of the locals on mt first visit. I was there for the all star game. I made a lot of new friends and found out about some other hidden jems in the area. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Fireside Pizza, founded by Mike Marschman, started off as a roaming "Pizza Wagon" trailer he hauled to food truck events, Findlay Market and other area farmer's markets. In 2014, Marschman parlayed his success into a brick and mortar location at the old Walnut Hills Fire Co. #16 building on McMillan St., a gutted, 150-year-old firehouse.

Fireside Pizza is the best brick oven pizza I've had in Cincinnati. It is located in an Old Firehouse station and there are even murals and pictures on the wall from when it was a functioning Firehouse. The pizza is delicious in their various specialty pizzas as well as a seasonal pizza that is changed every month or so. They have a fairly wide choice of beers including a changing draft list as well as Wine and Liquor. It's great for kids to it even has 2 arcade machines!

Great pie, salad, atmosphere and service. Their menu lists toppings you can add to your pizza and it only listed olives without stating what type. I was very pleased when they said they were kalamata olives which for my money are the tastiest olives on a pizza. The sausage was tasty and their oil in the squeeze bottle was a nice compliment to the pie. We both also liked the Ceaser salad with nice anchovies. Place is worth the stop

Damn! I think I've died and gone to pizza heaven. This was seriously the best pie I've had in years. This will definitely be the source for future pizza cravings

Met my friend Jake here for lunch and boy had I been anticipating this lunch.  I love this place’s food.  The fire they cook it with makes all the difference.  I work around the corner and I think this pizza is best experienced in the location.  The restaurant is a renovated firehouse (So appropriate) where they keep the doors open to the street.  I love the location and I believe they have breathed new life into the area.  Talk about right up this Architect’s alley!  The space is great, but the food is even better.  They keep it so simple and I appreciate that.  The menu isn’t huge, but every item is executed well.  We started with the Caesar salad, and typically I pass on most restaurant’s anchovies , but I was feeling brave.  It added a great flavor and it wasn’t the offensive taste I have experienced in most restaurants.  It seemed like they have struck the right balance of salty, tart flavor that complimented the salad.

Great food! Tony was very friendly and shared the building history with us. It is easy to miss, so look for the small sign and public parking across the street.

The mozzarella and toppings tasted a bit cheap. However, the wood-fired crust was quite good (if unevenly baked). Fireside is a decent pizza option and much better than the chains.

The crust of the pizza was perfect! I love a nice crisp outside crust that is still warm and chewy on the inside. The sauce had a little sweetness to along with the fresh tomato taste and the toppings all seemed to be of the highest quality and in good amounts.

Ever since the big food truck sea change in Cincinnati I have been working like a hungry little pig trying to track them all down. I was super psyched to find the pizza wagon at my local farmer's market. I planned to go there last Tuesday but due to rain

Friends of ours invited us to go support this restaurant and we are so glad they did! It’s a beautiful building with interesting history and that’s just the beginning! They were friendly from the minute we walked in! You order at the bar and sit wherever you want! We had the The Meats Pizza added mushrooms and onions. And I think the salad was a House Salad (husband ordered it for me). You would think the salad would be just basic. But it was incredible and the server was correct, small is perfect to share! The ham, eggs, onion were cut perfectly so every bite was delicious! The cheese bread ROCKED! Our friend said if the pizza is as good as the bread it will be incredible……all TRUE! I don’t know what pizza they ordered, but it looked great and I stole a piece of ham….oh my perfect!!! You will not be disappointed if you take the time to go and try this restaurant. We will definitely return!!

Service was great. Went to the counter & looked at the menu for a bit before deciding we wanted the "Meats" & the Cannoli. It has a great atmosphere from the lighting, setting the mood of gathering & a great time. Went around 4ish so not too many people on a Monday. Remodeled from a fire station, the pizza was good. Got the 9", a great amount of tomato sauce & nice crispy but soft texture when taking a bite. Took about 15-25 mins for the pizza, to the right of my picture, there's more seating with tables up to 4-6 people. Bar tables & bar stools to the left. You'll receive cups to choose from their beverage machine. Overall, would definitely come around again & try their other stuff. Also the Cannoli, never had it but had a hard texture with the soft cream inside. It tastes weird, I can't explain it even 2 weeks later, cream cheese but not as sweet as I expected. I would pass on that next time but definitely looking forward to their drinks & more pizzas.

Stopped at this restaurant by chance and truly enjoyed it! I had a Cesar salad and was able to try the white and pesto pizzas.. everything was delicious! The beer and wine selection is adequate. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant suits the theme. I love that they use old VHS boxes as the table numbers. It’s definitely worth a try!

Very nice space. Staff excellent. All pizza, calzones and some salads. Cannoli, house made, for dessert. Well worth a visit. In an old firehouse, some old mementos of back in the day. Easy parking nearby, outdoor seating for when it warms up. Limited taps but quality. Very good can selection.

Best happy hour! If you ever come you will probably see me at the bar. Monday-Friday 2-5 half of pizzas and beers. I get the robeling as a pizza and it knocks my socks off every time. Staff is friendly, they do lots of creative pizzas for their monthly pizza. Over all relaxed joint and a neighborhood favorite.

Wow, what a great inviting little spot. Historic and fun eclectic. The pizza's are top notch with lots of fun options. You really can't beat a good wood fired pizza and this place gives you just that. Friendly and engaging staff know their pizzas and drinks. This would be a good place for a date night or drinks with friends. Definitely on my recommend list.

Had the Greek salad (special order with Italian sausage) and a large veggie pizza. *Chefs kiss. The salad was cold and crisp and the pizza came out exactly as we ordered and service was very quick. Everything was delicious and super fresh. Loved the old firehouse decor and the friendly atmosphere.

Delicious, we ordered four small pizzas and cheese sticks. Pesto was the best, then margarita, cheese sticks, cheese pizza with mushroom, and ranked last was the Greek yet it was so good
