I think its time for a revamp or spruce up as this place wasnt what I had hoped and given you are paying $25 for cocktails I was a bit let down. The password at the door is probably a bit naf now. Think I prefer Pink Lady.

A boutique feel cute wee spot with amazing drinks! I didnt get a chance to try the food but it looked and smelled amazing. I love that they have a mix of live music and comedy shows throughout the week too.

this place would not be what it is without BRIAN! this man is amazing, my partner and I have been here twice and he genuinely brings EVERYTHING.
as well as this the drinks are delicious and there is a variety of options even outside of there diverse and very cool unique-styled movie-theme cocktail menu. THE PIZZA MELT IS TO DIE FOR! genuinely, the best thing i’ve ever tasted. had it for a second time last night and it was even better than I remembered the first time. awesome vibe, I love the concept and feel like i’m really in a whole new world when at austin club. a beautifully designed and absolutely wondering escape from reality. and with awesome service, Brian sure is the cherry on top 🍒

Have been there a couple of times now and have been served by Brian, he’s very professional and is amazing at what he does, his menu knowledge is outstanding and caters to all of our needs. He makes the experience even more enjoyable and he’s also good at keeping the vibe on the venue on track 10/10 for Brian
Would highly recommend if you are after a quiet intimate drink/snack. Music is great as well as the drinks. Get the cat in that hat.

Such a gorgeous bar! Love the Tuesday movie night. The staff were really lovely and looked after us well, great drinks and a surprisingly allergy friendly menu for such a small menu! Vegan options, dairy free options and gluten free options.

Such a cool and unique place. At first you think “Am I right here??” since the entry of the bar is in a dodgy-looking alley. Once you find the entry and say the password, you dive straight into the 50s. We felt like we just time travelled. The staff was really friendly, immediately approaching us and asking how we were doing ever once in a while. Unique drinks & they had the basic cocktails as well. Amazing atmosphere.

lovely lil spot with great cocktails. I focused on gin as that is the foundation here in NZ, and was not disappointed with Austin's interpretations on the classics. stop through hereband enjoy the ambiance service and great cocktails!

Outstanding cocktails, professional and attentive staff, amazing ambience. We went on Friday night and the live music duo was fantastic, loved it so much that we went back on Saturday to catch the end of a nice jazz quartet. There was a small wait to get in each time, but the bouncer was great. Absolutely worth tracking down - don't miss this place if you're ever in Christchurch!
