Most delicious meal in NZ!!! Ordered 2 mains, beef cheek rendang and seared lamb rump.. both are too amazing!!! Not enough for the craving! And we order chicken satay roti. Taste good too! Love it very much!

A hidden gem! I really shouldn’t tell you! But omg they know how to cook. Asian fusion at it’s best. Had three entrees and a main to share. Absolutely delicious sorry I cleaned the plate before thinking of a photo 😂

Absolutely yummy food! Lovely restaurant run by a lovely couple and if you have been to Vietnam or Malaysia it does take you back there :) cute lil place .. yummm!

Absolutely delicious... friendly host, beautiful well cooked food, melt in your mouth beef cheeks, soft tender lamb I could go on. This is NOT to be missed. Terra viva staff enjoyed being served by these lovely people tonight.

Ate here last night. It was delicious. Wonderful food with great flavour. Good quantity size too. At our table of four we all got different entrees and mains and they were all excellent and reasonably priced. You must try this place you will not be disappointed. The chef awards that adorn the walls have been won for a reason.

Absolutely stunning meal! I had the Curry Puff's and Beef Cheek Rendang. The dessert was the loveliest Panna Cotta I have ever eaten. Our waiter was so lovely, welcoming and attentive. I wish I had heard about Thinay's sooner and am so glad to know we have a beautiful local restaurant to go back to.

Visited today with family, food was amazing service was amazing. First time in christchurch and will definitely be back. Food just as good if not better than a 5star restaurant.

Absolutely splendid food, every dish was clever, crafted, well plated and carefully balanced, Eric's signature pork belly was on point as always. Lovely service, Thinay's delivers everything fine dining without the pretense and price tag. I'll be back and recommending, great experience. Thanks very much.
