Go to fish and chips after the beach! Pic is my small portion my husband ate the large Cod and it was enormous!

Not sure if I've reviewed it before, but it's worth 2. Best chippy for miles. Phone ahead if you don't want to wait. Used them for years over 3 others that are nearer. Never had anything but great food so I think the negative reviews must have been really bad luck.
The team in there seem to be on top of it and having fun, so there's a cheerful buzz going on even when they're busy.
Still the best fish and best chips for miles. Everythings cooked fresh too

Have been coming to Captain Cod for years went again this week and received the usual amazing food and service, friendly staff and the owner Vicky is always so nice!. I am Gluten intolerant and there is much choice there, better than any other chippie, it’s great to not struggle to find something to eat!. It’s also spotlessly clean
