What happened? It was not a great experience today. Unfortunately, chips were not the best ... I'm so disappointed.. drove here, especially for the fluffy chips I remember. Now skinny terrible chips... It's such a shame.. Fish wasn't that great, either tiny and greasy. Expensive lunch .. battered sausage was good and tasty, though, so we shared that! 😔

Great service although very busy and wow chips pineapple fritter to die for and my partner had fishcake plus chips excellent value and quality keep up the great work guys I would definitely recommend Alexander's.

We got takeaway from here and ate out at Mudeford Quay.
They serve you in 10-15 minutes at peak hours so relatively fast.
There are several chairs inside where you can wait for your food.
Prices are pretty average I added a photo of the updated menu.
Delicious Cod perfectly prepared the fish was nice and flaky soft on the inside.
Outside was crunchy and amazing. It was a good size filet.
The chips were good however the bag they came in made them soggy after aprox 10 minutes so the last half of the chips were abit harder to eat.
Id recommend to bring your own salt and ketchup for eating this so you can easily add what you need.
The portion was great, most of us got large portions and they were truly large!
The food was so good I forgot to take a photo of it.
To summarize a great fish and chips experience that I'd recommend to others.

Amazing chip shop big queues but everything is so well run it takes no time to get your order. There are seats outside the shop where you sit waiting for your number to be called well worth the wait food was excellent don't let the queue put you off
