Dined at the Bistro, and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing - the service was good. I think an extra person to help would have been better, but overall- it was awesome - ps: to the lady that promised me the Christmas music would stop after a while > you lied 🤣 I head 'Last Christmas" - like 4 times 🙄

Went in to the bistro for lunch. Beautiful place to eat and the service was great.
I ordered the steak and asked for it to be cooked medium rare- unfortunately it came out medium- but ultimately the entire meal was good from a taste pov- Will definitely visit again. The chef was even kind enough to offer us a free dessert

We have celebrated a couple of wedding anniversaries here and have done so with the degestation, this time we did the nine course which was pretty close to taste bud nirvana. Front ambience, to staff interaction, this is a special place for a special occasion.

An awsome place to experience fine dining surrounded by a lovely ambiance. Choose how many courses you'd like and you can wine match if the extensive wine and cocktail list doesn't suit.
Top presentation of all the dishes and the flavors complemented each other, nothing was over powering or tasted out of place. Top marks to the chef.
Our waiter was very helpfull, professional and knowledgeable explaining each dish in great detail as they were bought out.
Top marks for Chillingworth Road, we will be back.

The service was amazing, they offer to take your coat and also pull out your chair for you. Every dish was explained with great detail. Not only did the food taste good, the presentation of the food was beautiful.

Great food... Good quality.. The staff are amazing.. Explain very clearly about each dish, and hospitality is awesome.. The ambiance of the restaurant is one of the best in Christchurch. We tried the first table offer and it was a great experience. Will definitely go back again.

Wifey and I were instantly relaxed, then spoilt rotten as the attentive staff spent the next two hours presenting us with incredible courses that blew us away. Terribly decadent and expensive but very good value given the whole experience. Well done, you’ve now made almost every other restaurant we’ve been to look dismal and sub par!

I went there to celebrate my birthday and I couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant ! The attention to detail and the service was impeccable. To have a vegetarian fine dining curation is a challenge in itself but the chefs have done themselves proud. This will be a memorable experience. Thank you for your stellar service Guri.
