Drove by this place one day by accident and made a note to come back. Glad I did. Some of the best food I've ever had and the decor was warming. A great view of the neighborhood and beautiful art inside. Jackie was fun and a great server. Please try the guava and cheese empanada and the fried rice!

Super authentic! Great waitress, she was patient and helped me understand the menu. Awesome Rice and plantain sandwich!

We absolutely loved the food here! We found it by accident but cant wait to come back. It's small and cozy. We ordered empanadas of 3 different kinds with black rice. A coffee with milk (cafe con Leche), a mango smoothie and I think an order of ropa vieja. Everything was so fresh and full of flavor!

The food was excellent and the portions were very good. I had plenty that came with my meal. The servers and cooks there were professional and attentive.

This place has been slowly declining. I've been eating at this establish since it was a corner store with no seating. My last steak jibarito was full of onions, after I told them I had an allium allergy and not to put onions on it. The steak wasn't seasoned anywhere neat what im accustomed from getting from them. And on top of that the food was cold. I'll give them one more chance to make it right, after that they may lose a decade old customer who has brought them atleast 50 customers of the years.

The presentation is fun and colorful, there is plenty of seating inside music playing in the background. this is a family oriented restaurant i came with a party of 5 but I would come here with friends. the service is great the waitress and waiter work together and they do a great job. we were seated right away i think you can sit anywhere you'd like. our order was taken right away as far as drink she brought them right away. we looked at the menu and ordered Ropa vieja sandwiches (so good) I paired it with the green garlic sauce they have and it just intensified the flavor the sandwich is in my opinion large for a reg. I was full with half.. We ordered a papa rellena for our 1 year old he loved it chicken tenders for the girls it comes with fries. we also ordered Arroz Amarillo it was so good and a hint of butter which we loved. tons of left overs the prices you can't beat I was suprised we didn't pay more. this restaurant is kid friend they offer high chairs for young kids. I loved it the food is delicious and that garlic green sauce must emphasize how good it was it takes your food to the next level.

Stopped here on our way out of town cause we kept passing it during our stay in the neighborhood. The food was absolutely delicious. The empenadas were flaky and light and the trees leches was moist and not overly sweet. Will definitely swing by our next visit.

I went there today for the first time, and although food was delicious, service lacked a bit, food took forever and our server was not very attentive! We were the only customers in the restaurant so it really wasn’t due to being busy serving other tables. The coffee was great too!

I came in one evening and ordered two jibaritos with arroz con gandules. After I paid the waitress told me they were out of rice. They didn't have any kind of rice. The food is overly expensive and definitely not worth it. I will never be back there again!

A group of us thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried. From the housemade chicken noodle soup, to the empanadas, to the plantains, to the shreaded pork, to the shreaded beef and the highlight was their ox tail. It's an intimate kitchen, every dish is created with lots of love and cooked to perfection. Definitely worth the wait.
