This place is great. Went during lunchtime & sat at the counter. There’s not too much seating & I can imagine that it gets packed quickly, but we seemed to beat any rush. We both ordered two tacos & their guacamole and everything was tasty, fresh, and quick. We were shocked at how big the guac was! Will definitely be back.

This place is somewhere that I've slept on for too long!! Ya'll served me the best Shrimp , and Fish tacos so far, however I didn't think the guacamole would be so dog on expensive!! Next time I will purchase it low key because did look soooo bomb!!

Owe this place a review. One of my favorite taco joints in town. Tasty Asada and Al Pastor and hot flavorful salsa. Flan is perfect for me — not too sweet. Always friendly and prompt service.

Good little taco spot with limited seating available. Al Pastor was good but wasn't the greatest I had. Carne Asada was just a little over seasoned BUT tasty nonetheless!

Came here on the recommendation of a coworker who told me to try the Al Pastor, and W O W. I ate the whole burrito in about 4 minutes, and after I finished despite being stuffed I wanted another one so I could taste something that good again.
The best burrito I've had since living in SoCal, and a top 3 all time. This is another tally that proves that holes in the wall beat out chains any day of the week.
I'm eagerly counting down the minutes until lunch tomorrow, so I can eat here again.

This hole in the wall is incredible. Firstly the food is delicious for a good price. Burritos were filling and costed me 7.50. The pork pastor meat is great. They don't fill the burrito up with rice as filler. Instead they fill it with quality meat and cheese and tomatoes etc. The hot is really spicy, so be warned. The eating space is fairly clean. Next time I want to come and try the full chicken. Next time you're sick of chipotle come here for a good burrito, quesdidilla, or taco.

Tacos were great. Small restaurant with very limited seating, but the food and service was great. Definitely a hole in the wall spot. The Al Pastor is excellent and very flavorful. The carne asada was also great. Prices are fair; a little pricier compared to other taco spots I've been to. Parking is limited. Street parking is available. I would recommend this spot for a quick bite to eat.

Great food. Great drinks (horchata, jamaica). Super friendly staff (and customers). Great prices. Highly recommend.

Hands down, one of the BEST Al Pastor Tacos in Chicago. The Lengua is excellent as well.
I add Avocado to my tacos

I've been a fan ever since I moved to this neighborhood in 2013. I thought especially their al pastor tacos were some of the best I've ever tasted. A limited menu, but everything has always been delicious. It's a very small place, with limited seating, but the service has always been fast and cordial and the place, clean.

It's mostly a takeaway place. The food is really good, especially the al pastor burrito and chorizo tacos.

The carne asada is the best 8ve had between California, Arizona and Illinois. Delicious and awesome staff.

Love the beef tongue taco. My favorite taco place in Chicago.

If you want amazing Mexican al pastor tacos and you live in Uptown Chicago, this is your place. The staff is friendly and hardworking. Their pastor tacos are absolutely bomb.
