Review Pat's Pizzeria - Chicago

There are many pizza places in the neighborhood, but this is my all time favorite! Altho their dine-in space is very limited, but their veggie pizza is amazing! Easily can place order via their website. Staff are very neighborly.

Had a day in Chicago for work and decided to try Pat’s for their thin crust. 8 inch pep and mushroom pie for only $4 this summer! This stuff smacks. Thank you!

Awesome pizza!! My son and me both had the 8" 2 topping personal pizzas. They were great! The guys at the counter were really knowledgeable. Told us about the special. We each got a Crush soda with our pizzas. Was only $16 total. We were just passing thru, but will try to come here again on the next pass

Ordered a thin crust pizza. Very good. Will definitely order from this place again. I have been so disappointed in a few place cause they just didn't seem to get it right. The crust just right, sauce tasty and cheese is real. I will be getting my pizza from Pat's from now on. The only reason why I did give them 5 stars is because this is my first time.

The thin crust pizza is incredible! The price is also great. There is not much space to eat in, but the service is great! Definitely recommend this place.

Too many mushrooms! TLDR: get the fried ravioli and not Pat’s Special Upon recommendation, we went to Pat’s Pizza for their tavern style pizza; a thin crust pizza with green bell peppers, sausage, onions, and mushrooms, the pizza that real Chicago folks eat. This is a very small place, only counter space to eat if you were to stay. The fried ravioli appetizer was incredible! We devoured 6 pillowy, cheesy ravioli with marinara sauce, an Italian version of pico de gallo, and a squeeze of lemon. We ate the entire order on our walk back to the hostel! While we like each of the toppings that the special includes, the combination and amount made for a pretty wet pizza and the only flavor to come through was mushroom. Every bite was mushroom. I started removing mushrooms from my slices just to see if I could taste something else. I would give place only 3 stars if I wasn’t still thinking about going back to order more fried raviolis. No bathroom available.

Best homemade ranch and pizza! We always get the thin crust for movie night and when friends come from out of town. Crust just has the perfect crunch!!

Consistently good Chicago thin crust pizza. The crust, sauce, cheese and sausage all authentic and on point.

I’m happy I gave Pat’s a second chance. The first time I had it I was underwhelmed but the second time I really enjoyed it. It’s not my favorite pizza in Chicago but it is a very solid 4 stars. Slightly higher if I could do that. Very thin tavern style pizza and could put a few more toppings on them. I recommend the giardiniera.

So I couldn't decide if I wanted a Pat's Special that come with sausage, onions, peppers and mushrooms OR DOUBLE sausage. Then it struck me....I'll get both! This is half of each that is left after I took this photo. See this location has personal sizes for usually under 9 bucks each. That gets you a free can of soda too. So for 20 bucks I didn't have to decide. I hot both. Now full disclosure this NOT THE ORIGINAL PAT'S. They are up near Lincoln Park. However this place licenses the name and formula for the crust so it's a close second. YES there is a formula to a crispy light strong enough to hold toppings crust. Pat's has perfected that crust. The thinnest crisp crust allowed to support topping. I took my picky brother here. He ordered double sausage AND pepperoni. I was worried the crust wouldn't support that weight but I was way wrong. For me a pizza should stand on a CRISP CRUST not piled high with sauce that makes everything soggy (cough cough Lou M and big G on a bad day). A crust should crack and crunch when you bite into it without crumbling. They do that here. I will not down YOUR FAVORITE but this is mine. Lincoln Park doesn't do personal size, is far and the hours aren't really conducive to anyone not in that neighborhood but it's a great date place unlike the State street local, more designed to grab and go! So if you are in the south loop, hankering for a decent ZAA, stop by for a personal or whatever size you like. Soda can not shown, I drank them but if you must know I had Root Beer and Ginger Ale. Perfect choices for me when no beer Available which YOU CAN GET in Lincoln Park.

Omg one of the best thin crust pizzas I have had in a long time! Nice and crispy and well done. Very well made pizza. A must if staying or visiting south loop area 😋

Great little pizza shop we hit up kne night after a long day. It was perfect. And rhey directed us down the street to a tavern so we could use the bathroom and grab a drink while we waited for our pie. Nice staff, too. Very friendly.

Never caught his name, but the guy who took my order on the phone was very nice and deserves a raise for helping me while I was in a pinch ordering for my office last minute. GIVE THAT DUDE MORE MONEY!

Horrible customer service. Usually when i go to Pats i am always greeted by the male owner of the establishment. he is always very friendly with all the customers and always has a story to tell while you are waiting for your food. on other occasions the really tall caucasian female is there and she is alwasy rude. it never fails that they mess up my order over the phone and for some reason she feels the need to blame me. when i asked he today what the attitude was about she proceeed to let me know that this was my fault and i needed to learn how to order. i told her that if i wasnt really hungry i would leave the enteire order there and she said well do it like it was no big deal to her. that was enough for me to walk out and NEVER return. while SRO is a lot higher i would rather give them the extra money than deal with her attitude! what she doesnt realize is word of mouth is a B*#$%!!!!! i work for a large compnay and i will surely let everyone i know not to patronize that business anymore!

I used to go in here four or five times a week when I lived nearby. The staff became to know me by my order and were very friendly and kind. I love their veggie burgers, they're better than half of the ones you'd find. I miss these guys! Give them your support :)

Better lasagna than I make!. Now for an Italian person, it is not easy to admit that the pizza joint in the Loop makes better lasagna than you. But, Wow! I have ordered food 6 times in the last couple weeks, while the pizza is yummy- the classic Italian entrees are fabulous. Eggplant parmigiana melts in your mouth. Chicken parm is not too thick, perfect portion and the meat lasagna will make you think your Italian grandma had been slaving all day. BTW, if you have it delivered it comes piping hot too!

Great thin crust--probably the best in the Loop and Near North.

After a busy week of work, I felt like ordering in pizza instead of sitting down at a restaurant. Pat's Pizza was a great choice for the night because they only offer carryout and delivery. I couldn't even find a menu online and was confused because there is another Pat's pizza at the intersection of Wrightwood and Lincoln Avenue, but this place came with recommendations from several other people. Right in the south loop at Clark & Harrison is Pat's pizza. They offer a cracker-crispy crust and many appetiz
