The tacos I had here were amazing. Definitely huge portions for the price. Worth the drive across town to try. You'll be full off of one order. Awesome that this place is really open late for those late night cravings. Definitely bucket list worthy place to visit in Chicago for a quick dine or takeout. Can't wait to come back and try everything eventually.

What a cool idea/concept. I ordered the Cuban and it was mostly chips at the bottom and a bit heavy on the salt. For nearly $10 I would've expected more protein. The flavor was good, but overpowered by the salt. The decor is really cool. I gave it a try, don't think I'll go back.

I've had their food a couple times. I look on here and see some.nad reviews saying it's not tacos but more like nachos in a bag. Clearly these people don't know the concept of a "walking taco" and that is what their spin on it is. For those reading this and not knowing what a walking taco is, it's basically your taco filling placed in a bag of corn chips/Fritos. It's worth giving them a try. If you have it delivered, I highly recommend you ask for the chips on the side.

This is NOT meant to be healthy food.
Food- 2 (I had the vegetarian/vegan) option. Reverse Coney. Not my favorite but I can see the appeal.
Service- 3.5 the guy was friendly and courteous. He explained how to better enjoy their dish.
Atmosphere- 5 super fun atmosphere. Laid back and straight forward. Best part about the place.
Cleanliness- 5. The place is not a luxury establishment but they keep it clean. You have got to visit the restroom.

Food started out promising, but was salty, some cold bites. Ambience - it was 830pm but the place was empty and it felt too early. At first no music until the guy started playing his podcast on the sound system. Take that as you will.

This is an amazing restaurant, great good concept , original characters and decor and just an all around fun vibe! The best claw machine prizes in the US if not the world! The food is a great variety of a simple concept with fresh ingredients and a staff with personality!

Amazing food, fun setting, and great customer service! Can't go wrong with any of the choices (but the MikeRib is my hands-down favorite). The donuts are made to order and are amazing; even the pop machine is out-of-this-world. Today, we got a sample of their delicious carrot cake bread pudding - definitely recommend it; appreciate that they recognize long-time customers. There is a reason why any of our trips to the city include a detour here...

I tried my first Taco In A Bag at Riot Fest over the weekend. I have many digestive issues, and heat plus the equivalent of fair food is usually a no-go. I was excited to see something different when I passed the Taco In A Bag tent and immediately came back to check out the menu and get a closer look at their product. I am vegetarian, so food choices at taco joints are usually extremely limited, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the Vegemite on the menu. After my first bite, I knew I'd found something special. The lettuce was fresh and crunchy, the chips were crispy and not too salty, and the lime marinated black beans were tender and full of flavor. I liked this Taco In A Bag experience so much, I ate it again on Sunday at their restaurant before heading to Riot Fest in the afternoon!
