First time there: street parking was easy due to it being winter break. The restaurant was busy, but enjoyable. This was a different type of setup than I was expecting. You order your food at the register and then they bring it out to you when it's done. Not bad, just new for me. The restaurant is quaint, but cozy. My only not so pleasant experience with this restaurant was the order taker/cashier. She could've been having a rough morning or something, she didn't make eye contact, no smile, and was just giving the impression that she was trying to "just get through the day". Other than that, food was delicious, cooked to order properly, fresh and flavorful. The restaurant seemed clean and the other staffers were attentive and friendly. I'd definitely return in the future.

This review is based on the hash I ordered off their special menu. I cannot speak to the rest of the menu. We were looking for a good brunch place to go with a group of friends and stumbled upon this place through top brunch spots. The set up is simple, not a lot of tables inside, maybe 10 tops. You sit down to an available table first and then come to the front to order your meal. I ordered the buffalo chicken hash which was . The 3 Berry Cake was sooooo good. Moist, sweet, and good quality. My friend had the bean burger which she mentioned was great. We also ordered the truffle omelet which my other friend said was great! I can understand why this was a top rated spot. You won't regret the wait if there is one.

Have loved this place for a few years. Very glad they’re still around. Great diner vibe. Great food. And staff! Also great for dairy free options. The Root Veggie hash with eggs is top notch. Beef Stew is salty but good. Plain coffee at $3.50 is a little steep, but that’s less of a complaint and more of advanced warning for anyone else. We always love when we finish food from here because we immediately look forward to getting it again.

Good breakfast option if you're really hungry or in the mood for comfort food. Plenty of menu options and a lot of items have a unique twist. My friend, for example, got the chickpea hash, which had some curry tomato sauce over it. I went more traditional and got the Pork Bubble and Squeak Hash, which was also good. Very casual place and fast service. Overall good experience. I'll be coming back.

We came in for lunch and tried the Southwest Salad, the Garlic Bread BLT, the Burrito, and the Chicago Meat Lovers Hash (this one definitely stole the show).

The owner actually waited on us and she's amazing. The food, even better!! I'm gluten free and was amazed at the options. Seriously, if you get the chance check it out. Also, try the Reuben Hash, you won't be sorry!!

Finally was able to make it out to Hash and boy was it delicious. I had the breakfast bagel sandwich which was the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. They have a ton of vegan options too making it friendly eating for all diets! Highly recommend! Can’t wait to try more items off the menu.

Food came out really quick and the outdoor seating was nice. My food wasn't the best in the world (feta, sweet potato, red onion omelette) but I would go here again and get something different. Decent pricing. Butter and toast was really good!

Grateful Dead tunes in the background, satisfying breakfast on the plate in front of you. Have the Poblano omelet if you like some heat, or the pork belly and hash for milder but filling choice.

This place has been on my list for a year, so I had to stop the procrastination and check it out. Ordered from the "build your own hash" menu. 2 eggs (your choice) scrambled, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots and cheddar cheese.

Had been wanting to come here for years and I finally came. Tried one of the specials on the big board and I was very delighted. Fried chicken, blue cheese and a fried egg?!! Um yes please! Food came out fast too. DarkMatterCoffee, great! It's byob as well, so you definitely can have some more fun... Will be back to have more.

Food was very good, and the hibiscus tea was excellent. Place was clean and staff very friendly. I wouldn't consider it 70s style decor though. Still a nice place!

Poblano omlette was bomb!!! So good that I didn't even get to take a picture of it. I also tried the cream of mushroom which had actual fresh mushrooms which I had never experienced before and absolutely delicious. The coffee was great and it was packed when I arrived but definitely worth the 5 minute wait for a table. I literally thanked a cook.

Best breakfast I’ve had in at least two years! And that’s saying a lot for someone whose primary love language is breakfast food. Granny Cakes were so over-the-top I had to recreate them as best I could when I made brunch for my whole cul-de-sac yesterday.

We discovered Hash by accident. We'd gone to a different place, but it was closed. We were hot and very tired and hungry! Hash had plenty of tables, quick service and delicious food. We were 3 very grateful tourists! Recommend the hummus plate - perfect for a hot day. Also the curry chickpea hash - delish!
