We came for cocktails and desserts, and we weren't disappointed. Boozy cherry walnut milkshake was delicious. Service was friendly and fast. The Palmer House Brownie is one of the best I've ever had and comes topped with cherry walnut ice cream. Delicious!

Today I got to enjoy a very delicious burger at Potter’s inside of the Palmer house hotel. I pulled a seat up to the bar and had missed the lunch rush. New to the Potter Burger game I asked for suggestions and Nikki the bar tender did not disappoint.
She suggested the Lakeview which had bacon, peppanew aioli and fried cheese curds on it. Partnered up with some house chips I was good to go.
As I waited on my order and drank in the rich history of Potters. Fun fact, the Brownie was actually invented right here at the Palmer house by none other than Potter Palmer.
The burger came out looking awesome. A quick slice down the middle and I was ready to attack my taste buds by its beauty. And it delivered a powerful blow. Everything hit at once and it was insane. I gobbled it up quicker than I noticed the Nikki’s shirt matched the burger skirt paper and picnic blankets.
I needed something sweet now and the one thing that popped out the most was the Milkshakes. A chocolate to go and I was ready for the second round fight with my taste buds.
My only complaint is that I wish the shake was a bit bigger. For $5 I was wanting to experience it a bit longer than just a few gulps.
Overall had a phenomenal time at Potter’s. Also I do believe Nikki deserves a raise because her shirt also matches the straws in the milkshakes.

Located within the Palmer House on the lobby level. Smaller menu. Burgers are a bit pricey, but the #3 I had was outstanding; juicy and flavorful. Need to order sides (fries, cheese curds, etc.) separately, if you want more than just the burger.
There are a few TVs scattered around if you're looking to watch a game. Draft beer cost is also slightly higher than average in the area.

I had dinner with a friend and got the mushroom burger on a pretzel roll. The burger was delicious but drowning in grease. I got onion rings too and they were great. Nice atmosphere and our service was fantastic.

Was looking for a place to eat that was in walking distance, and this little jewel popped up. Burgers were great. Fries were great. Forgot to try the Brownie cheesecake. Maybe on the next visit.

Nice hotel bar food but as of October 29 the listed hours were wrong. Talked with the bar staff while downing my food. They just reopened post covid two weeks ago and their actual hours are Wednesday to Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m..

Food was good, but we had the worst service we've ever had at a restaurant. Manager was no better. Find another burger place in Chicago.....you'll have a better night.

Disappointed. Read reviews that said they were great. Don’t bother. Service extremely slow even though the place was near empty on a Wednesday night at 7. Cheese curds below average. Burgers average. Waitress never brought my drink. I expect a lot more from a restaurant inside a Hilton.

We waited a half hour for any waitress to show up. Service was incredibly slow. No offer of a second drink. Hamburgers were good. Brownies “made here” were fair at best.

Waited 15 minuets for someone to serve us. We gave them our drink order and after waiting another 10/15 minuets and we never got our drinks we left. The couple sitting next to us also left. No one came to serve them either. Terrible place! Stay away!

The poor service issues from those posting earlier most assuredly have been corrected. I've been there twice in past two days and received prompt, courteous service of high quality food. PLUS, I couldn't find my credit card after receiving my check today. I panicked until it occurred to me that maybe I'd last used it there yesterday. Without much hope, I asked the waitress (who'd served me y'day) if she'd check. She told me their standard operating procedure would be to immediately turn it over to security. She had done exactly that. Security promptly brought my credit card to me, and -- after checking my i.d.-- returned the card!! I am beyond grateful to that young lady.

Wow.. Says closes at 12 but I walked in right after 11 and the front sign said "please seat yourself" then to make sure I asked the dark skinned bartender which seemed to be only waitstaff and very rudely he said "NO THE SIGN SAYS CLOSED" although it was not turned towards oncoming potential customers. This is no way to run a business ESPECIALLY one in a Hilton establishment. I spoke to Destiny at the front desk and hopefully this issue won't arise to other hotel guests and will be taken care of. I only wanted a convenient bite to eat at my hotel but was turned away with rude service and hours are apparently made up according to your website. This is NOT how you make repeat customers!
