Really enjoyed this bar! Great vibes, moody, art deco - super cool. The food and drinks were great too. Didn't go the lounge that's upstairs but it seemed like a good time!

Very nice cocktails that are pleasantly strong and not too sweet. Truffle fries are a solid choice, so are the garlic shrimp, and steak tacos. Solid place!

Interesting vibe. They do have a dress code, and I overheard them say no athletic wear and no sweatpants. They let me in, I’m black, and they definitely had all sorts of folks in there. The floors are long and narrow, definitely want to be on the thinner side if you want to traverse all the stairs as well. There is a coat check, $5 per item. Cover seemed variable, people were arguing their way out of it, but we paid $20 each. Drinks were a little more expensive than even a luxury experience ($18 a shot). The second floor is a seated lounge with a kitchen if you need a breather, the other three are different music scenes. Depends what you’re looking for. Fun and does the late night trick. Music was… …. Yeah it played. Some DJs ready to go home. Top floor was also said to have ‘reached capacity’ and barred people from entering but you could also argue with them to go up if you wanted. Overall, an interesting 4 AM experience.

This incredibly trendy place in a trendy part of town is a great place for people watching especially during amateur hours. Each floor offers something different so it would be important to choose wisely. My personal favorite was 3rd floor where one can actually carry a conversation without having to yield at person sitting right next to you. Cocktails were quite good.

Dear Entire Celeste Staff,
We wanted to extend an extra thank you to everyone who made our *surprise* wedding at Celeste possible.
Everything from the coordination pre-event, to the help setting up, the amazing drinks, the incredible bartender, and the delicious dinner - everything was perfect.
Traveling from Portland, Oregon to Chicago for a wedding brought a set of challenges, and we can frankly say, we had zero stress leading up to our wedding day.
You also took incredible care of our niece's sensitive diet in a way that gave her mother a chance to relax.
She has not stopped raving about her special meal since.
It’s not easy taking care of a child with allergies and sensitivities, and the staff took extra precautions to ensure everything was safe for her.

The food was delicious. Our mothers said with full earnestness that it was the best wedding they had ever attended, which for our mother is the ultimate compliment. If there was a high bar to set, Celeste succeeded.
We want to extend a genuine thank you to the entire Celeste staff who genuinely made this the best day of our lives.
Happy to be a reference to anyone wishing to hold a special event with you in the future.
PS. Pretty sure the Smoke & Mirrors cocktail is the best cocktail I have ever tasted.

Pretty good spot, the different vibes on each floor make it so that there’s something for everyone. Cover was $20, which is a bit steep but also on par for the neighborhood! Staff was super kind and seemed like they were looking out for the safety/well-being of their patrons.

We had our wedding here in mid-October and it was BEYOND AMAZING! The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure our day was special. The Garden Rooftop was stunning and all of our family and friends could not believe how beautiful everything was. We flew in from out of town for this event so having all the chair/table rentals/cake/food/venue in one place was INCREDIBLY EASY! We had the ceremony on the roof top garden level, the cocktail hour in the Deco room, and 1 beautiful long table on the roof top garden level to close it out. We could not help ourselves but to come back later that night to dance on the Disco floor. Both Cassandra and Kassandra were so welcoming and informative during the entire process. It could not have been easier. Thank you, Celeste Team for creating a day we will never forget!

I went there for drinks and see how is the place. Love the place that have many floors with different decoration and music. Enjoy this place. There is a floor for dine in as well. 1 floor for drink like a bar no jam, another 2 floor with jam but different music (top floor is like jungle, another is like disco) i had a good time.

For a Hispanic person, it is a very white bar however we spent a great time at the bar in the first floor. The bartenders were very nice and honest. You should give it a go. 👌🏼😌

We went on a rainy Thursday; NO COVER for guys or for girls. All the employees (which looked fully staffed) were extremely nice and cordial. There was plenty of security near the bathrooms and at every floor. It was a bit slow, but it was a rainy Thursday. The 3 levels give you plenty of room to choose what kind of atmosphere that you're looking for with a dj at every floor . Can't say enough good things about the staff. the drinks average between $10-$15 but they were delicious.

Nice space that is well appointed and well staffed. We were on the second floor for dinner. Drink prices are a bit high for the volume but I think this is unfortunately the norm nowadays. They did have a few specials for $8 which were good. Food was decent but not spectacular. We had the the Steak Frites. The fires were over-salted and over done. The steak was good though. Maybe it was we were there early in the evening and it looks as though things don’t get going here till later so maybe they were just warming up.

As a local I’m not a fan of Rivernorth bars due to high covers and expensive drinks but Celeste is an exception due to friendly staff, no cover, it has three different floors with three different vibes and a great mixed crowd. The dance floor on the 3rd floor is always a fun vibe :) Love coming here and would highly recommend

This is a solid spot, me and my friends have been coming here more often than anywhere else this summer.
Reasons for this is mainly the awesome staff. Security do their jobs and are always chill as long as you don't act a fool. Edward, Omar, Chester and the rest of security staff crew, thanks for being awesome 👍.
Additionally, the bartending staff is helpful and always make the drinks on point! Will be back for sure to close out the summer season!!!

D is a great server...Mr.Simmons is one of the best bartenders in the city. Trumps Aviary and any relevant bar in the local.. go please! If you grab a seat ask for D, sit at the bar ask Mr. Simms. Over and above any service or cocktail quality on the street, in the city and IN THE REGION! As a server and a bartender this place is a gem. Visit any chance you get.
