Review Lowcountry - Chicago

Low Country-South Loop is my favorite place to go for seafood boil. The food is always delicious and the drinks will have you in a good mood. They even have food choices for children and for those that don’t eat seafood. If you’re looking for a family friendly restaurant, restaurant for a friends outing, or date night this is the place to be. You won’t be disappointed.

My first time this time of restaurant and I was speechless. So fun. We made a huge mess of ourselves but we also didn’t use the gloves provided, rookie mistake. Even with the gloves you will get dirty, so be prepared. Worth it though.

I loved the atmosphere of this restaurant! It is “self-serve”, so you go to the register and order your food, then they bring it to the table. All the combos come with cornbread & a drink which is good. I got the shrimp boil bag which came with 1 lb of shrimp, potatoes and corn and I got the house sauce. I also got an order of garlic noodles, fried pickles & beignets. The cornbread is sooooo good. Everything was served super fresh and quick. But, beware, that hot sauce is HOT, lol. I’ll definitely be back!

Went here for my Nephew’s graduation. When I say we had a timeee. It was a church choir there and they sung for everyone’s birthday & sung to my nephew as well. They even made people join them that were sitting by themselves. It was my nephew first time trying seafood and he stood the entire time eating because it was so good 🤣

Low country boil done well. Our Bartender Selena took great care of us. Food was delicious in a nice atmosphere. Sangria was yummy. Highly recommend.

Best happy hour deals in the area! Was also pleasantly surprised they had meatless options so I was able to get all veggies for my dinner.

The place located center of building was not a bad place although I went when there was no rush hour. So pretty spacious. The food was a deserved 4 star rating. Though avoid Cajun and added heat flavor or lemon pepper as you won't taste the lemon flavor. The prices on weekend will probably decide if you want to eat there or not. So recommend the Monday- Thursday special.

Low country is the place to go. When my relatives come from out of town the one on Wabash is real nice. I dined at the bar and got half of the drinks I recommended the hurricane to drink and the double and get a bag for 25$ to go.

We went here for my wife's birthday and she loved it, she's a big seafood fan and the loved the food. She ordered the double double and I got the shrimp combo an our son ordered the wings. The atomosphere was great. They do ask for vaccine cards upon arrival, they provide gloves and tools to eat with an a bib as well. We had a great time.

I loved the idea of sharing a platter with my best friend and perfecting the skill of cracking crab claws, needless to say we were experts by the end of the night. The place has great ambiance and whether you want to spend time with your family, or just chill out with your friend this place is perfect

I love eating here. There is so much space, plenty of room, and the food is 10/10. I have been here a lot of times and have never had a bad experience. I love the atmosphere, and everyone was super kind. I've also done Take out and the bags are just as amazing .

Extremely happy to have a place like this in the South Loop. The food was amazing. We got two pounds of snowcrab in the everything sauce on level 3 hot. Wasn't too spicy for either of us. I do enjoy spiciness though. The atmosphere is fun and lively. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They all seemed to enjoy working there. When you walk in and get seated you take your menu to the register, place your order, take a number, and they'll bring it out to you. Your server can order drinks for you or you can go up to the bar on your own and get them.

Not a lot of parking. This restaurant is located downtown Chicago but worth the parking struggle. Plenty of tv's with movies and sports. Also hand washing stations for customers. Good music playing and you can create your own seafood bucket or select a combo. Spicy bucket (in the pic) is very spicy but so good. Employees are very friendly and make great/strong drinks. Adding to my favorite seafood places so far. A little pricey but it's great seafood and atmosphere.
