an absolutely gorgeous, cozy, delicious spot! my friends and i stopped in today during a chilly afternoon for a quick bite and drink, and it was exactly what we needed. the entire staff is so kind and chill - especially Tyler and Etta, the food is reasonably priced and beautifully made, and the ambience is perfect. i got the deep fried tofu and and a side of rice and it was great! will definitely be back again, highly recommend stopping in!

Surprisingly well priced ramen spot, with savory eats! We enjoyed the vast selection, and ability to customize your order (different types of noods, toppings, etc). Everything was flavorful and came out at the perfect temperature (minus the karage, definitely wait a bit, it's cooked fresh!)
Will eat here again :)

Great ramen here! I love that they have a vegetarian option on the menu. You can also customize your order by adding toppings. The vegetarian broth is delicious and the portion size is excellent. Highly recommend for a fresh, delicious hot bowl of ramen in the area.

I stopped by for a quick afternoon meal and was lucky to catch the last seat available. The pork belly buns are a delightful appetizer with intense flavor and texture of the pork belly contrasted with a fluffy bun. The garlic tonkotsu ramen had a full bodied broth and the noodles were springy with each bite.

Beautiful place with great ramen! The service was polite, friendly and on time. Overall it was a great experience to dine here. And look the menu is so artfully done!

A solid ramen spot in Wicker Park with reasonable prices, especially for the area. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen, which is a pretty classic soy sauce-based option with pork, egg, and bamboo shoots. The noodles were fresh and chewy, the broth wasn’t too salty or dehydrating, and the price was just $13, which I appreciated given that most spots nearby sell comparable bowls for $16+. I wish it came with more pork though— there was only one super thin slice, and texture was kind of rubbery.
We also ordered Chicken Karaage for the appetizer, which was pretty good— crispy exterior and tender interior, and the sauce added a nice kick. All in all, it’s a solid ramen chain spot with a large variety of bowls that I’d be interested in coming back to try out— both soup and dry/dipped, hot and cold, with prices ranging from $13 to $16.50. The service is a little slow here, but it’s overall just pretty busy.

One of my favorite ramen places. The vibes are good, great portions and food presentation. The broth of their soups pack so much flavor. I choose the low sodium options and love the tonkotsu shoyu ramen. Highly recommend!

Lovely dining experience. Unfortunately, a couple of drinks we wanted were out of stock (Sapporo beer, plum wine). The Hello Kitty drink & tonkotsu shoyu ramen were great!

Our waiter was so awesome! We found out he was also the chef as well that day. So he was serving and cooking! Wow! He was so friendly and welcoming. But the food was delicious! Definitely recommend and will come back :)

Absolutely love this place. It’s never super busy so I usually get food quickly and it’s always delicious. My favorite place to stop after thrifting in wicker. My favorite item is the spicy chicken tan tan. My friend also loved the miso. It’s a cute, quite place! Will be back :)

I had the Shoyu Ramen and the Pork Gyoza. I travel a lot and one of my favorite things to eat is Ramen. This is by far the best Ramen I've had so far. Mark was my server and he was wonderful as well. Polite, attentive, and helpful. Definitely recommend.

1st time I tried this franchise was in Indy, was hooked. Came back to Chicago, tried a few different places and were all disappointing, before knowing this restaurant exists in Chicago. Gave it a shot and this is now my favorite Ramen place. Each flavor has its own yummy taste. Just ask for the low sodium option if there is. Love it!

A really cool interior and vibe, and great food. Tonkotsu tsukemen was phenomenal, broth was rich and noodles the perfect texture. I chose the “lower sodium” version and it was still delicious. Surprised to see the option across the menu even on ramen. We enjoyed the croquettes as well. Also the chili oil at the table was great… overall would come here again for lunch.
Ps. Whoever is playing Japanese old school city pop on the aux is doing a good job.

First time visit... definitely going back. Went around 130pm on a Sunday and was able to get a table right away. Busy but not crowded. Portions are good (more meat please), noodles are on point (wavy noodles had just enough bite ), broth wasn't overly salty (got the garlic tonkotsu shoyu ramen... very garlicky), appetizers were yum/portion size for the price is ok (could give more pieces) but worth it, service was decent, food came out with good timing (not too long but not too quick). Must try. Good luck finding parking :)

Had a great experience. We were recommended this place after we went to a wine bar and were in the mood for some ramen. Initially the first choice was furious spoon but then after hearing about a new place to go to we had to. When we got there we realized we had passed this place on our walk through wicker park and had expressed interest in going here. I had the vegetarian ramen and despite it being vegetarian it was very flavorful. Also ordered the plum wine that is actually a liquor highball yet still very good so not your typical "plum wine" that's for sure. Our waitress Stephanie was super attentive and her service was above and beyond if you're in the neighborhood and in the mood for some good ambience and food go here and ask for Stephanie! You won't be disappointed

It was my first time. I have heard great things from my Japanese friends. I had the Yuzu Shio Ramen. Normally, I'm a fan of a more bitter finish ramen, Nagoya style Chashu ramen. The yuzu in the broth made the broth brigther and slightly sour. Because of its different taste, it appealed to me greatly. It goes well with Japanese beer; I had it with Kirin Ichiban.
The staff impressed me with how friendly and helpful they ar; big shout out to Jen and the photographer. I was there attending a fundraiser for an organzation, and all the staff was fun and friendly, great sense of humor. I enjoy the little touches like "いらっしゃいませ" the greeting to any Japanese eatery, filling our waters when it gets lower, asking us if we needed more たこ焼き, etc.
I really enjoyed how they incorparated the social media aspect with the free matcha ice cream promo for liking the page. Btw, Matcha anything is a great way to end the meal. I think one of the staff took my photo that night too.
In addition to the food and service, the atmosphere is just as important. On the wall behind the bar, the dark wood with the chrysanthemum pattern gave me the vibe of a bar or cool place in Tokyo or Osaka. I like that you can also see into the kitchen if you wanted to take a peek.
With the atomopshere, food, and service, I for sure had an enjoyable time with my friends. Perhaps I will wear a Yukata next time.

First timer and ordered the gomae, small pork rice bowl, and the garlic tonkotsu ramen with the pork belly. Gomae was great, pork rice bowl had a little too much sauce, and if you order the ramen, I highly suggest getting the "low-sodium" option bc the traditional is way too salty! Needless to say, excellent service and dining environment!

I had a great experience here recently. Our waitress was super helpful and attentive, and the environment was much calmer and quieter than Furious Spoon across the street. The spicy ramen was excellent, with multiple levels of spiciness that you can order. Impressive beer menu as well - I found Tokyo Black Stout for the first time here and loved it.
Next time I'm in the area looking for ramen, I'll definitely head here.

Low sodium option was still very salty. I Couldn't eat the shoyu ramen. The 9 other people I was with complained of the same problem. I ordered the tempura just so I have something to eat. We were seated close to the bathroom and could smell the wet dirty stench of the mop; hallway to walk to the ladies washroom had an awful stench esp across the curtain going to the kitchen. I couldn't tell if it's from the stuff stored behind the curtains. Service was ok. Had to keep asking for water; had to ask the second time each time for ice for water. Server was surprised we asked for ice with our ice water. Really?
