mixed review - burger was decent, it will do, but there are better options in chicago. drinks were good, service and music was good. it was sweaty hot inside, went after work and it was too hot for work clothes. cheese curds weren’t very good in my opinion, and $10. cookie was average.

The atmosphere is pretty cool. Drinks were really good. Service was ok. Staff came off as bothered. Parking is tight with residential permit only, and you'll need a little luck to find a spot out on Division. Menu is limited, mainly elevated hot dogs that aren't bad but not great while the apps were really good. Overall, cool place to check out while out on Division.

Great little neighborhood joint. Only came for the booze so can’t comment on food, though the wiener list looks good if you love wieners (and there’s some veg). Solid beer and whisky list. Luis crushes it as a bartender. Helping you make decisions and providing recommendations and conversation. Friendly joint with cool taxidermy.

It was a pretty cool spot. Service was good. Felt that it would be a great spot to hang out with friends. Pretty good beer options on tap. Food menu looked interesting but I couldn't try any food as kitchen was closed.

First place I visited upon landing in Chicago. Got myself a Chicago Handshake, which is a PBR and a shot of Malört. Highly recommend!
My friend got cheeseburger and loved it but said it was smaller than he would have hoped. I got the Chicago Dog with the wagyu and it was excellent. Really loved the relish, pickle spear, and tomato combo. The wagyu was indiscernable but overall it was a good dog.
Service was fast if a little awkward. Would still go back there.

I had the Chicago dog and a baverian pretzel and I loved everything. I had to order a second. The dog had a very soft bun with a great combination of peppers, onions, relish, and mustard. I complemented it with a local Chicago lager and it was delicious. Great place and I hope to return soon.

One of the best presentations of a Chicago dog I've seen, but I don't score on looks. I have to say that first. The dog itself was decent. All the right bits, everything was fresh, decent dog, would go back, wouldn't drive out of the way for it. No char is a big minus, so I'm gonna say - an easy 6.3.

I live in the neighborhood and this has been one of my favorites over the years. However, the menu seems to be going downhill the last couple of years. Gone are old favorites like the deviled eggs, tater tots, grilled cheese with tomato soup, and other sandwiches. Worse, they recently got rid of the cheese curds and have gutted the brunch menu to three items. The last menu had already gotten rid of some of my favorites. At this point, it would be hard for me to convince anyone to come here to eat, especially from outside with neighborhood, with such a limited and focused menu.

Such an amazing place to hang out. Great atmosphere in winter and summer. The food is awesome as well. I don't care much for everything deep fried while drinking, they offer great tomato soup and sandwiches.
Their bomber list is freaking amazing. World of beer claims to have the same beers, but every time I ask them for one they say 'they're out.'
They also get New beers in that haven't been released to try. I was friends with one of the bartenders and him and the owner would hook me up With a free taste. Niiiiice.
Its a hipster place. If you don't like men who look homeless, you probably shouldn't go. :)lol

I loved coming here for brunch. The biscuits and gravy were my absolute favorite not only in Chicago but EVER. But now I found out they got rid of their brunch menu and I will not be coming here as much anymore. Extremely disappointing.

Best food I have had from a restaurant. Most everything is made in house and it really shows.
The fried cheese curds were delicious and a must have! Our table ordered them before and after our meal.
