Review Furious Spoon - Chicago

Best Ramon hands down! The vibe, music, people and the food, All great! Came all the way from Wisconsin to just get some good Ramon. Will definitely be returning. The bao buns are good too!

I ate a lot of ramen here on an all you can eat ramen day. Everything was pretty decent. If I am being honest, it was not the best ramen I ever had, but at the same time, pretty good for an all you can eat deal. I like the way the restaraunt is set up. Relaxed seating, with bar stools against the window to allow you to eat ramen with a view. For me, I really enjoyed eating ramen while observing the young, hip environment of Logan Square.

Vegan/Vegetarian Options. Vegan family of 4 ended up here for lunch. Please focus on food and not ambience. The look and feel to match like a local street place in Japan. Loved the ramen and bao options.

Absolutely love this place! Every time we visit Chicago we make sure we stop in for the Furious ramen. The atmosphere is great. Clean and inviting while also cozy and calm. The food has never not been delicious. The staff is wonderful. They are friendly and informative. Definitely recommend this local spot!!

Finally got to try this restaurant and I liked it a lot. We started with a couple of baos. I liked the pork bao the most, my wife enjoyed the chicken more. Although, she found both baos toppings s bit salty. I ordered the Furious ramen, spicy miso with pieces of pork, pork and chicken dumplings, mushrooms, poached egg with scallions and ginger. Heat level is just right and delicious. My wife had the Mother Clucker, nice chicken miso with nice tender pieces of chicken with crispy shallots with Thai basil and lime. We samples each other's miso, her chicken is very flavorful. She found my spicy miso s little too much heat. Overall, we really liked the ramen bowls served here. Definitely will be back for more in the future.

Had such a sweet server named Oliva. I was able to substitute fried tofu for egg which made my ramen vegan .

Incredible ramen as always (the Mother Clucker is my favorite ramen here or anywhere honestly) and I tried the Dreamsicko Mode (pictured) and it was a tasty summer drink. All of the servers were helpful and friendly.

This place was great to stop in quickly and get a bowl of ramen. The server was friendly and the food was delicious. It has cool vibe with larger shared tables that look like they get packed when it’s busier.

Amanda, our server was AMAZING. I have not had that level of customer service before in Chicago. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We stopped in too lazy to make dinner and left happy and stuffed! If you do show up, recommend asking for Amanda or going a night she is working!

Dumplings were crispy, the dipping sauce tangy. The mule had that pebble ice that makes everything better. The beer was cold. Lyric, my server was attentive and quick. Everything came out of the bar/kitchen quickly.

I love this place for their Happy Hour options! Ramen 🍜 is on the salty side though and feels like it was made hastily or microwaved. Nonetheless, They are nice for a good happy hour and appetizers.

Really enjoyed our time here. Kathi, our waitress, was awesome. The appetizers were decent. The drinks were really good, we got fishbowls which were reasonably strong and an old fashioned which had just the right amount of sweetness. The ramen was okay at best, I really wasn’t a fan. We got both infused and regular noodles but I found the regular to be a little better. The furious ramen had dumplings in it though and I thought that was a great addition. Everything was reasonably priced though.

My first time here. The food is ok for me. But who prefers not spicy, it should be perfect. A dumpling with ponzu sauce is delicious. The table is clean, and the service is above and beyond. I will be back.

Ramen is a must in here. Cool dishes! served along with a nice selection of dumplings and choices for non alcoholic beverages and buzz, I recommended that you try their spicy lemonade. Their prices are fair for the taste and service. They have a cool wall in their restroom, and yeah, please tip their waitresses nice they deserve it for the service and recommendations

First of all WE GET IT YOU GOT BIG SPEAKERS why is the music so damn loud??? I did come in late when there were no customers. Maybe the employees thought it was cool to blast music to a point i can not hear the person across from me. No way ANY food establishment plays music this loud. Food was meh. Broth was horrific. Meats tasted old. Learn to poach an egg. I am severely dissapointed. Never again.

This was the first time I had Japanese ramen and I loved it. It took me a while to find an open location (18th st and halsted) but it was well worth it. The music was great, not too loud but still able to have a conversation. My brother in law had the furious bowl with egg and duck, I had the chicken miso with furious sauce, egg, and fresh corn. IT WAS DELICIOUS. We will definitely be back and definitely recommend. The only downside I would say if I have to is that they ran out of beef but it's so good I could imagine ramen flying out the kitchen lol

Food on point , hip hop on point , slightly too loud for that hour and conjeated and limited seating space. But it's all about the food right ? And sure enough it's very tasty

Good food, cool vibe, laid back and free flowing, great music!!

Great fun atmosphere. We all ordered a different style and every bowl was delicious. The price was considerably better than the other ramen house we went to in Chicago. Parking is a bear but worth the walk.

The food was delish. One of the waitresses had an attitude. I asked a question, and she just walked away. Everyone else was chill, though.
