This place has a wonderful open layout with great lighting, aqua blue and gray walls and an over the counter bakery that makes it very inviting! The food was delicious, with creative and yummy recipes for anyone.
Lattes were delicious, chilaquiles was as well! But I recommend splitting it cause it’s a huge amount of food. Banana pecan pancakes were everything you’d hope for! Definitely a must visit in Chicago.
Only thing I’d say is they should definitely update their outdoor branding, the design looks pretty outdated.

We used the Google Assistant to make a reservation here! It was a sparsely decorated but nice interior. The staff was friendly, masked for COVID and we were seated quickly. Menus were available as a QR code or printed.
We ordered oatmeal and a caramelized onion frittata with a cappuccino and a honey latte to drink. Would definitely order the honey latte again!
The frittata was delicious but would recommend the cheese grits as a perfect complement. The oatmeal was steel cut and also surprisingly good and had some nice add-ins as well.
Would definitely visit again!

This place is a busy brunch spot but the food and service match the buzz. The coffee is delicious and the staff are a perfect blend of witty and attentive. Try the bacon scone if you get a chance.

It was great to go back to this restaurant after some years. Food still tasted good and staff was very friendly. I love it when you back to an old spot and the food did not miss a beat. Consistency is key for me with food.
If you’re looking for a good breakfast/brunch spot, then give Bakin’ & Eggs a try. You will not be disappointed.
Currently, there is construction on Lincoln but don’t let that deter from good food and coffee.

This restaurant just re-opened and thank goodness! The food is delicious and plentiful. The bacon flight gives a great opportunity to try different bacons and is fun to share. I had the banana pecan French toast and it was fantastic. My wife had the carmelized onion frittata and loved it. The coffee was good and plentiful (including when we switched to decaf). My wife is gluten free and there are plenty of options. The service was very good (still working through a few kinks from the re-opening but nothing major). Overall, a great breakfast place!

We chose this place last minute for brunch on Sunday. We had a group of 9 so we were happy that they had room for us. It's the only place I've been to that sells flights of bacon! The Bloody Mary was good but a little heavy on the horseradish (it's a house blend). Our server, Leal was funny and accommodated our lively group with a smile. I had the chilaquiles which was way different than what I am used to but delicious! It came in a patty type form and was heavy, I couldn't finish it. I also tried the banana bread French toast. It was super dense and rich! The restaurant itself just went through an upgrade and was clean, bright and welcoming. We would love to come back!

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots. If you like savory breakfasts, this is the spot for you. I've tasted around the menu, and everything is good. My personal favorites are the Southern Comfort Bowl and the Biscuits & Gravy tied. They have the best biscuits in town. The corned beef hash is a close contender though. The bacon flight isn't for me. I do like the Jalapeno bacon, but I don't taste a significant difference between the other bacon types. Their coffee drinks are as tasty as they are pretty. It's kid friendly. It can be a little loud with the kids, but it's a small price to pay to get one of those biscuits. This is a must try.

The waiter was horrible and so was the food hash brown potatoes were cold and the pancakes we order was so cold when u add butter it was sitting on top never melted the bacon everbody don't like favor bacon the syrup had gotten hard let candy so it was a horrible breakfast won't never go back and would not recommend it to no one.

Great food. Tried the flight of bacon which was fun. Good food choices some unique and some standard. Have to try the raspberry/strawberry jam. Home made and fantastic. Delicious teas- creative blends. Got a latte for the road. It was made with a house made lavender syrup!!!!Relaxing and delicious! I live in the far south suburbs and intended to go to another popular Burch spot in the area. Ended up here because the wait at the other place was rediculously long. This place was worth the trip and my family and I will be back!!!!

Short wait time, great space, wonderful service, and delicious gourmet food. It’s inexpensive for the amount of quality you get. Definitely more bang for your buck. Slightly disappointed it’s not BYOB anymore but the Irish coffee and hot toddy more than makes up for it.

The service was great but it was very loud. You can't go there and have a conversation. The food is very very overpriced. Who ever heard of ordering 2 eggs that is supposed to come with toast and getting one slice? How much does bread cost? Will never go there again.

Ate there this morning for the first time in years. My son loved his Corned Beef Hash with eggs over easy. My Bacon Pancakes were terrific as well. The Coffee was quite disagreeable to me; way too acidic for my taste. Reminded me of Seattle's Best, which is not a complement.

I loved this place. Read some online reviews then went to eat there. I had the butternut squash frittata which was awesome! Offering coffee during the wait for a table is a nice touch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back.
