Usually quick service from the people we ate with. The exception being this and the previous visit for them. They were short 1 cook and 1 waitress, our food took 1 hour! They did recognize that it was an issue and discounted the ticket. The food was very good and hot. 3 of us didn't like the cole slaw but the rest was great.

Good homestyle cooked entrees. The food is fantastic and served quickly, prices are good (you can't break the bank) especially for the amount of food you get, and the service is great. One of my favorite lunch spots to go.

Bring a Snack.!!
A small eatery with a large variety of menu offerings and a daily specials.
Two friends and I arrived at 11:40 for lunch. There was one small four-top and one 8-10 top table. Most people had already been served.
We ordered two grilled chicken salads and a southwest chicken wrap- none are technically difficult but are generally good. Others finished eating and left.
After waiting an hour, we asked the server to check on our food. Without moving she said, ' I'm sorry, there's just two people in the kitchen and they are backed up right now. But I can go check if you want.' She returned about 5 minutes later and said our order should be ready in about 10 minutes.
A full twenty minutes later, our order arrived. The chicken was not diced white meat but was canned. It had not been rinsed prior to cooking and had a stringy texture. This might have been more appetizing had it been more than marginally warmed. Much of the lettuce was wilted, the cheese had begun to separate, and our drinks were empty.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place for lunch or plan to stay for dinner. Unless you are part of the regular crowd with a reserved table, it's likely you'd do better calling for a Dominos delivery...

The taste of the food was good. The portions was lacking. I ordered Shepard Pie 6 tablespoons was all there was with a two tablespoons of mashed potatoes and a sprinkle of cheese. It did come with a small biscuit and two sides. I spoke to the waitress who told me well for the money you can't beat it. yes I believe anyone could. so I won't be going back. now I need to find a place for lunch.

Some coworkers and I went here for lunch on Friday. The first sign of trouble should've been the inattentive cashier. Although a sign is posted "Please Seat Yourself" we weren't even greeted with a hello. We ended up sitting at the bar to begin with because all of their 15 tables were full. Our server greeted us and said they were out of their lunch special for the day (Salmon Patties). Keep in mind it was BEFORE noon. What kind of restaurant runs out of a "special" before the lunch crowd even arrives?!
After receiving our drinks, a table opened up and we moved our things over and gave our orders to the server. We ordered sandwiches. After 45 minutes of waiting on our food, our server appeared for the first time since taking our order to apologize for the delay and said it'd only be another 5 minutes. 25 minutes later, our food finally hit the table. I have absolutely no idea why it took OVER AN HOUR to make sandwiches, nor were we offered an explanation. To make matters worse, one of my coworkers didn't even receive the sandwich he ordered.
The food was average, even though I could've made the same sandwich at home in a fraction of the time. Once we finished eating, we asked for the check and were told we were supposed to get up to the cashier to claim our check and pay. We stood in the check-out line for over 15 minutes. I didn't expect to literally "claim" our check. To my surprise, there were 20 handwritten checks on the cashier's counter-top and we were asked "Which one of these is yours?" We each played detective, carefully inspecting the short-hand chicken-scratch to decide which ticket was ours, paid, and were on our way.
This restaurant could use some managers who have a clue how to run the restaurant. The process is COMPLETELY broken. The people were not welcoming. The product was quite underwhelming. I won't be returning to this location for lunch-- unless perhaps I take a half-day off from work!

Food is decent for the price, but today was my last visit. After I paid I noticed I was overcharged about $1.45, but when I asked the cashier about it she admitted it was their mistake, but said it was too late to fix it or to refund the difference... for a cash payment. I just walked away, since not having to explain basic arithmetic to a fifty-something year old adult was worth paying a little extra - but it's the last dollar they will see from me.

Stopped in to eat before we took tour at Coker Tire Museum. Everything we ordered was great. Food came quickly to our table and staff was polite. Place was clean. If we are back in Chattanooga, we will come here to eat.

This morning we waited for scrambled eggs and biscuits for almost two hours. After the first hour the waitress came to ask us to decipher our order because she couldn't read her own ticket. We Had hope we might actually get to eat. 45 more minutes passed the manager came out and said they were out of eggs and were about to send someone to get some! Needless to say everyone in the place walked out.
This is not my first bad experience here . No more chances.
