My husband and I have eaten here twice now and both times, we deemed it as the best meal we ever had! Our first visit was last year right around this time as we were here celebrating our dating anniversary. Last night, we were there celebrating our first full day as Mr. and Mrs. and we are having a quick honeymoon in Chattanooga - a city that we both love dearly.
We started off by sharing a house salad and per our request, our server dropped off fresh, delicious bread with a side of butter. I loved that our salad came out on two cold plates with a cold fork, and even though we were splitting the salad, we got our own plates. For our meal, my husband had the prime rib with a loaded baked potato. I had the braised beef with mashed potatoes and green beans. Both of our dishes were incredible!! Such great flavor and the meat was cooked to perfection.
Lastly, our server offered us a complimentary dessert since we were celebrating! We chose the chocolate molten cake. Initially, I thought I was entirely too full for dessert but this was too great to pass up. My husband, who isn’t too big on sweets, said it was the best dessert he ever had.
Both times we have been so impressed with the service and food. We can’t wait to come back!!
We went to Hennen's for the first time the other day (8/25/17) for my girlfriend's birthday. I ordered the Lamb Shank and she ordered pan seared Duck. The presentation was great, the seating staff got us a table quickly, and our waitress was amazing. We ended up with cheesecake for desert and I also got a wine. Everything was top notch and prepared by an obviously well trained chef. I would recommend this place to anyone!
