William Street Cafe

Lunch closes at 3, but didn't see this anywhere on the website or Google maps Had some baked goods and a very, very good latte made with oat milk. It was the Great Northern which has maple syrup. The espresso was TOP notch. Staff was courteous and polite. However, they did lose 4 other customers today who also wanted lunch at 3:30p. I arrived at 3:15p from Ridgetown after hearing about how great the lunch is for years. Unfortunately, I'm graduating and won't be back out this way, so not sure when I'll get a chance to try it.

This cafe is a nice reminder of the little bistros in parts of Europe. Very laid back, no-worries kind of place. Very down-to-earth ambiance. Very well kept and clean. Most of all, everything the ladies make is homemade...and delicious! The coffee....perrrrfect... Very pro-natural products...with the exception of some seriously decedent little pies... My friends and I love the William Street Café

Don't trust their posted hours, they close whenever they feel like it. There's no wifi. The washroom isn't labelled. If you want to buy any of the artisanal goods they have, you have to bring cash and pay separately. The food and drinks are good but they don't really make up for their other lazy business practices. I really only come here because there aren't any other cafe options in Chatham.
