This place is amazing. The owner and staff are welcoming and very friendly. Food here is absolutely delicious, everything is fresh and they cater to any taste you want; whether it be spicy, mild, or sweet. I recommend the char siu pork and spicy salmon bowl with cucumbers, carrots, edamame, onions, avocado, crab salad, onion crisps, and shredded nori mixed together with a blend of spicy aioli and shrimp sauce.
Stumbled upon this place after leaving Total Wine. Friendly staff. Fresh ingredients - rice, fish, and toppings. Good portion sizes. Will definitely be back! It’s nice to finally have a place like this in the University area.
Super clean and cute place to eat lunch! I was so surprised it was empty when we walked in. I’m obsessed with their sushi rice and all of their ingredients were really fresh. The two ladies behind the counter were very nice and patient! Great please overall!
I eat here at least once per week, every week, and have been for over a year now. They’ve even memorized what I order! The people here are so nice, that eating here has become more like visiting old friends than just buying food. Speaking of the food, where do I begin? The ingredients are always fresh, made-to-order right in front of you, and the flavor is out of this world. I’m a sushi / poké connoisseur of sorts, so I don’t do reviews like this often. For me to sing a restaurant’s praises publicly, I have to be substantially impressed. King Fish Poké has definitely earned this review, hands down!
First time at a Poke Place. Went here on a Friday before a concert. Staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean.
I ordered the Surf & Turf bowl with chicken, shrimp, lettuce, onions, cucumbers, carrots, cilantro, and crispy topping. I added corn and extra shrimp sauce. It was delicious! I'd definitely go here again. Only reason I gave them 4 stars out of 5 is I felt they were a little expensive. My bowl was like $16. And the chicken was dry, so next time I will get just shrimp. Other than that, I would recommend.
I loved the poke bowl and the concept of building your own poke bowl. Very fresh tasting and full of unique flavor!
First time here and I LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was already looking forward to my next visit while still finishing my meal !!! Great portions! Loved all the options and they are very well priced !! Everything tasted fresh and whew, just delicious!!

This past Sunday I came here with a friend, and glad I have finally tried this place! You start with the rice, I chose sushi rice, the you get your proteins, I got pork, which counts as 2, and the tuna. Then I got the mix ins, seaweed, edamame, pineapple, and oranges. Next comes the toppings, I got seaweed salad, crab salad, tempura flakes, crispy onions, and the King Fish Classic sauce. All this put together made an awesome bowl of poké l will be back someday!
I saw that this place had sushi burritos and had to try them and boy am I glad that I did!
The rice is warm and as you can see in the picture nicely proportioned and we'll cooked and flavored. The assorted fillings are light, fresh, and you can choose your own! The service here was also quite friendly and there were several recommendations that made the meal go from good to great like adding some crunch and getting extra sauce for dipping!
All in all, I recommend coming here for something novel, filling, and satisfying but also light and refreshing! Because you can make your own it's also worth coming back to try all of the different variations. Glad I went out of the way to come here
$9.95 is a great starting price for poke with a fair range of fresh ingredient selections. You can choose sushi rice, a nori-wrapped "sushi burrito" or salad as your base.
Beware: the sushi burrito is a giant maki roll that can get messy.
Also, the place could use some better ambiance beyond the minimalist white tables and chairs (and cardboard boxes of supplies in the corner).
Come here for your meal, then go get dessert at Tea Fusion on the other side of the shopping center!
Had The Niner burrito and my friend had The Friday bowl. I did prefer the bowl but both were good. Place looks super clean which is always a plus. Hope it stays that way. Prices are affordable too.
Solid bowl, worth the price, healthy food on the go, ordering online made it super easy to just run in,pick up and enjoy on the lunch break!
