Be's Noodles & Banh Mi

Brought the kids here yesterday for lunch after a movie. We used to live in Northern Virginia near a huge Vietnamese population, and the Vietnamese food was always amazing. This place is solid. Broth has an excellent flavor, egg rolls were delicious, and they have a real simple soup for kids that are picky eaters like mine. Food comes out fast and hot.

In my three years in the Charlotte area, this is the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant I’ve found so far. Highly recommend the combination vermicelli (bun). Comes with grilled lemongrass pork, grilled shrimp on a skewer, and two crispy eggrolls. It was delicious. We also got the grilled pork banh mi. We asked for no jalapeños but they forgot and all they did was remove them and bring the sandwich back. We could still taste the jalapeños after that so that’s my only complaint. The bread was very crusty and light. And they were generous with the meat. The vegetables and herbs were very fresh. You order at the counter then find a table and they bring the food to you. Chopsticks and utensils are self serve by the beverage machine.

Vietnamese pho is always an attraction to me. Never visit here but received recommendation from my daughter. I knew it should be good when I entered this restaurant. The smell of the pho in the air told everything. It turned out that I was right about this. The only I could complain about was the pho was not hot enough to make my day but still OK.... The Banh mi was absolutely good. We even order takeout for that. Recommended......

It was a pleasant experience dining at this place. You will have place your order before sitting down, the workers were nice and friendly. The food was really good, expect big portions. The only unfortunate thing is that they have a limited drink options. A nice place that I would recommend and would be going there again.
