My girlfriend and I were partying at Montford last night. We come home to find her wallet missing. Which really upset her as she had May's rent in cash in the purse... Well, not only did some amazing soul return it to the bar, but it had all of her cash in tact! Thank you, whoever you are, we really appreciate what you did.
Awesome, awesome place!! Always have a great time and the best karaoke spot. I also met my boyfriend here so that's pretty fantastic :))

I can honestly say since moving to the Charlotte area, this has been one of the best karaoke places I’ve ever experienced!!’
The owner is friendly and down to earth and the main reason why I continue to come!
The staff is professional and respectful as well!!
I love that they do not tolerate violence or threats!
Everyone is treated with respect and love!
A local classic, and a gem. Always a good time, any night of the week!
We actually prefer week nights because it’s still poppin, but not shoulder-to-shoulder slammed like it sometimes gets on weekends. Glad they have that back patio area where you can come up for air if needed.
We also like that it’s a wide range in age groups. You’ll find yourself singing along to fav bar songs with a mix bag of college kids/recent grads, professionals in their 30s/40s, and a few retirees. Everyone is welcome and there’s almost a family vibe in there as everyone sings along and gets a little goofy on the dance floor.
Drinks are a fair price for a good time in a fun dive bar.
They also have late night food, nothing special, just bar type drunchie food- mozzarella sticks, etc. Perfect to end the night after all that liquid courage you drank to get yourself on the stage.
Wowzer!! We went down the steps and stumbled upon this place and we had a damn good rocking time in this place. The vibes, energy, and people were phenomenal. The drinks were great, the bartenders were very friendly and attentive. We just found a new hang out.
Karaoke bar that has patrons in the ranges from college to middle aged. A fun time, cheap drinks (all bottles/cans, no taps), and a decent spot for a "dive bar" feel
Jeff’s bucket shop is super fun! The bartenders are so sweet and the atmosphere is great. However, don’t expect to get to sing your karaoke unless you slip the dj $40. I was there for my birthday with a group of family and friends and had signed up but never got called up in the 3 hours we were there.
Best Karaoke in Charlotte! You have to come early during the weekend because it fills up quick. Jeff's has the best KJ's and Charlotte's second hottest bartenders on staff along with the sexiest security you could ask for.
The vibes were awesome here... it's no wonder they celebrated 20 years!!!
Karaoke fam this spot is cool for all ppl and ages! I will say tip the dj!!! Music from all genres/decades welcome. Wear comfy shoes as it's in the basement and the floor may be sticky... (saw a few drinks spill) this didn't kill the vibe. Met some cool ppl and felt welcomed.
Jeff's Bucket Shop is our go-to going out place. It is a members-only establishment, but membership is only one dollar per year and includes unlimited free popcorn. The staff is always extremely friendly and the environment is great. Even poor singers are encouraged and helped out by the crowd! It would be great to see a little more selection in drink choices, but if you are just looking for a fun time and drink the stuff you really like before coming, Jeff's is the place for you!
My girlfriend and I have been coming here since August of last year and I have to say that it's an incredible place to sing, drink, and have fun. On first impression it looks like your typical dive bar (emphasis on dive) but it has such a great personality with it's lighting, ornaments on the wall, and stage set up. They have a ton of music choices and use karafun as their means for customers to select the music they want to sing. The bartenders like Steven and Kelsey are very attentive and inviting. And the KJ's like Jen really know what they're doing with the adjustment of acoustics. Food is ok for late night snacks, and beer is abundant for the domestics and craft beer lovers. Keep in mind the venue is small and gets crowded easily, also if you want to sing on the weekends like Friday or Saturday, prepare to wait a LONG TIME!! Our favorite days are Sundays and Tuesdays because while it can still be busy, you get the chance to sing a few songs, listen to some of the regulars, and sit down and enjoy having a couple of drinks. Definitely worth it if you ask us
Interesting little spot with karaoke. You must be a member to get in or buy a membership at the door. Not handicap accessible. The door also may not be that easy to spot, but it is on the right side of the front of the building and there is a big sign pointing to it.
