It was a great meal. Got the hotdog with chili and cole slaw and a cheeseburger. Onion rings were well done and crispy - just the way I like them. The place was packed, but the line moved fast. Great place for a quick/simple lunch uptown.
Great local place with long history in Charlotte. The folks that run it are great.
Staff was great and knowledgeable. Food was outstanding. Manager can to talk, not a 15 second fly-by of how is everything. And a vet! Highly recommend. Within 3 blocks of the Grand Bohemian Hotel
You want some good glizzys? This is the place. You want some fantastic straight-forward burgers? This is the place. No frills, just good basic food.
This food is like good music. The people making the food want you to think it is tasty and then feel full. They bring about the emotions and feelings they are trying to induce.
Eat the food. Feel good. Go back to work.
I’ve lived in the Charlotte metro for my entire life and finally went to Green’s yesterday. The hot dogs were top notch. The tea was super sweet. I’m afraid they won’t be around much longer as the building is up for sale, so make sure to go sooner rather than later. It does get pretty busy so there might be a little wait.
This is a must go if you are a local or happen to be in Charlotte. This place has been open for decades.
Traditional southern comfort food with great hot dogs and burgers. The chili sauce is as good as it gets. Don’t miss the onion rings! They’re outstanding!
Great atmosphere! Restaurant is located in the heart of downtown but has a small town feel. Good hotdogs
Fun little quaint place over by the stadium with a long history. Staff is warm and friendly and the food is great. We will be back the next time we're in the area for some more fun and good food.
I love the old fashioned stools, booths, quiet ambience and simple menu. The hot dog was not my favorite kind, it tasted like a cheap quality boiled one. The toppings were yummy and helped.
The crinkle fries were bland and dry.
I guess I have a taste for a gourmet high quality grilled dog and fries. If you have a taste for the cheap boiled kind and are willing to pay $3,50 for it, go for it. I like 7-Elevens hot dogs better, but the atmosphere at Greens is unique and charming.
I went on the last day of operations after 70 plus years. So many people were there for the send off, I had to wait over an hour to be served, enjoyed every second of it.
Nice lunch restaurant. Nothing better than a Fried bologna sandwich, onion rings and chili dog
Great food, friendly services and great prices. Love their breakfast. Have happily eaten here for over fifteen years. Green's Lunch is the best.
