Always come here when I visit my hometown. Food is great but they no longer have alcohol beverages. But don't let that stop you from coming. The food supercedes the drinks.

Not sure about some of the negative reviews on here at all. This place was amazing. Stopped in for lunch with my wife while in Charleston for a VA appointment. The place was very clean, the server was amazing and very attentive. Food was great along with the prices and portions. Not sure where else you can get the Texas Fajitas for only $16 anymore! Wonderful experience and will be back

This has been our go-to Mexican restaurant for years. It seems as though COVID and staffing shortages have hit them hard so we’ve been worried and haven’t eaten at the restaurant (they don’t have a liquor license right now). We ordered togo the other night and it was perfect. Seriously, I usually have a weird order because I’m a vegetarian and they nailed it! Everything was delicious. People just need to be patient and kind when eating here, again they don’t have full staff but they are trying!!

This mexican restaurant is my family's staple. We visit everytime we go to folly beach. It's tradition. It wouldn't be a tradition to go if it wasn't good. The restaurant has great prices, sizes and has wonderful decorations. The food comes fast and is delicious.

We had such a great dinner last night from La Carreta! We ordered online and got our meal delivered. The website ordering system was really easy to use and you can leave comments for specific directions etc. I had the shrimp fajitas and they were delicious and it was so much food I had a whole portion for lunch today. They accidentally forgot our sopapillas (which we highly recommend!!) and when we called to let them know, the team member said he would bring them out to us right away. And he did! It was such a pleasant experience and we loved the food and the customer service! 5 out of 5 stars from us!

The food was hot, and tasted good. It was served rather quickly. The service and as great too. Only reason it lost a star was because they were out of a popular dessert and for some reason no longer serving alcohol. My mother-in-law was very disappointed she couldn't get a margarita.
