Great Mexican restaurant with lots to choose from on the menu. It has been around for quite a long time and I have been visiting this restaurant for about 25 years. Great service that you come to expect these days. Lots of atmosphere and music. Food is excellent and at a great price.

They have great vegetarian options and good drinks. Food comes out super fast and the staff are all so nice. The decor and ambiance is pretty dated, which is why I took a star off.

Try the molejete with shrimp, chicken, beef and chorizo in a wonderful sauce. Comes with salsa with avocado, cheese, rice and beans. It is one of the best we've ever had. ❤️ Highly recommend it!

We went with a family gathering this week. The staff arranged a very long table & a dedicated waiter to accommodate us. Excellent atmosphere, professional staff & prompt delivery of all orders, for such a large party. Many of us are years long repeat customers.

I called to order a Fajita Burrito to go. I was just down the street and they said it would be about ten minutes. The parking lot is always nearly full here. Dos Reales is one of my favorite Mexican Food Restaurants in C–U. The Fajita burrito is either new or I hadn’t noticed it before. It was delicious with the grilled onion and peppers inside with the beef. Their chips and salsa are good. I should have asked for their hot salsa, but even the mild has a good flavor. Service is great. I walked in, paid, and it was ready in just another minute or two. I don’t call ahead to fast food, but this seemed to be faster than fast food.

While living in Champaign I have had occasion to both dine in and carry out for business as well as meet family or friends. The food is consistently high quality. Oscar served most recently, but I have not had a complaint. Their staff is attentive and although their parking lot has been very full, I have never had to wait longer than a minute to be seated. If you want good Mexican food, this could be a great option for you!

The food was good! I liked the steaks and shrimps more than the chicken. The portions are big enough to cover another meal. The service was a little slow and we had to wait for the check for quite a long time, but it was on a Friday night and I guess that is fine.
