The food is really good, soups are very tasty, love the Wisconsin cheese soup on Thursdays. The cream of tomato, and chicken noodle is good, my favorite sandwiches are: classic hero wedge, cheese burger, Malibu chicken sandwich, and the Wednesday special: French dip our way, so dang good! The shakes and malts are a once in a while must have. And let's not forget the onion rings, these are not the fake minced ones, these rings are the real deal

I love this place for lunch. Their chicken noodle soup might be the best I've ever had. I usually get their steak and cheese sandwich, buffalo chips (spicy potato rounds), and a cup of chicken noodle. Service is always fast and friendly and I look forward to grabbing a bite to eat there any time I can!
Almost missed this gem! On vacation, we saw their high ratings and decided to check it out and were not disappointed! Such friendly and helpful staff who pointed us to the favorite items on the menu and all were delicious! My party had the steak and cheese and the pork chop sandwiches, both of which were phenomenal- lots of taste! Sad we don’t come through here often to get to try again!
Cozy for couples yet roomy enough to seat family of 5 or more comfortably. The service is cheery and prompt. The food is awesome! Portions are plentiful enough you can share and still get full. There's a reason why Paul Bunyan's was voted #1 sandwich shop in Butte Montana with fast and friendly staff that will serve up a delicious and very filling meal for take out, delivery or for dine in it can't be beat!
Great food, home made soup and soft bread! Excellent customer service. The cashier was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu her name was Sam Samples we really appreciated her recommendation. Defiantly we will be back.
Best steak and cheese (their way) sandwich I’ve ever had. After five days on the road with truck stop food and the limited fruits and veggies in out cooler, this was just the comfort food my family and I needed to eat. If you’re taking I-90, this is a go to place to stop. My three year old loved his burger that we got him too.
Absolutely great place to eat!!! Had the crispy chicken sandwich, my kids have the grilled cheese and my husband had a deli sandwich. All very good!!! The service was amazing and the two ladies behind the counter were awesome with our kids and provided exceptional service!!! Well done!!! Will visit again when in the area!!!
Found this place by chance and the simple quality of a good sandwich blew me away. Ordered a classic hero- the hoagie roll was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. No mayo or mustard, just the perfect Italian dressing, provolone, ham, salami, shredded iceburg, and thin sliced sweet onion. It was pretty busy but service was quick and friendly. Prices are cheap and my 1/2 order could feed two.
Always loved the food and awsome service here. I tried the steak and cheese are way by far best sandwich I have had. Highly recommend. And the home-made tomato soup as well
