Katie O is a tour de force—this isn’t just a restaurant, this is COMMUNITY IN ACTION. This woman has taken it upon herself to feed the world, starting with her community and New York City as a whole. During the pandemic she fed 500 people a day and has made it her mission to find every way possible to feed everyone she can. Come support this place and you’ll be blessed, if you have the honor to meet her, bless her! I usually just review the food but I am wowed by how much work this person does to spread food as love. I hope Keith Lee comes back to New York to come here because she deserves it

I love this place, the chicken was great. The atmosphere was nice. I felt welcomed by the staff. It felt like I was back at home or a friend's place that had a welcoming family. Their Mac n cheese was top notch. I could tell the chef put her heart and soul into it. The only downside is that they're open on weekends. However, the reason why, from my understanding, is that she spends a lot of her time cooking for a food bank. Also, it's black owned. So go and support this place meow.

I absolutely love this restaurant it is my neighborhood fave and have been going since they opened. I ordered the fried chicken and jerk chicken for my bestie bridal shower and everyone raved about it how good it was. I am sure they will have a few new customers in the future. Truly appreciated all their customer service.

The Customer Service was good.First time there she had me taste before I purchase what I brought. We enjoyed our food that we purchase. The Turkey Wings, Oxtails, Yams, Collards Greens, mac-n-cheese, corn bread, Banana Pudding n Red Velvet. Everything was delicious. No Complaints. We will be back. Thank You for the service.

Katie, Katie, Katie! My oh my! I regrettably ordered over UberEats because I wished I could meet you in person! The packaging was great and thoughtful; there was even a message written on top! We ordered the fried catfish - I got mac n cheese & candied yams and my boyfriend got candied yams & greens with turkey meat. I am a native New Yorker of 20+ years and hes a man from the South. Let me tell you...he had the biggest smile on his face! The food was absolutely delicious and you can tell they are seasoning with love. Might I add that I am a Chef of 10 years so the blend of flavors I completely appreciate. We are DEFINITELY ordering often. Im sorry theres only a picture of the packaging- we couldn't wait to dig in, lol.

I love this place! 1st I love Katie personality. She's so welcoming, funny and all about good food. So, you know what that means? She makes you want to buy food and keeps you coming back! 1st went here and got hooked on her homemade sweet potato pie. My favorite dessert. Hand down; sweet and so delicious. Hard to find good tasting sweet potatoe pies, nowadays. My friends love her banana pudding(another popular must have when you arrive at KatieO's) and last.....the fish is so damn good! Fried and seasoned perfectly.

The fish was tasty the mac and cheese was pretty good too. With that being said my drawbacks. The shrimp was way too salty. I ordered the chicken meal and never received it. That was a shame because that was the part of the meal I was most looking forward to eating. Has good potential and I would reorder again to see if I would like the chicken or not.
