Europa Pizzeria

One of my favorite pizzas from my hometown. Since moving out of NY three years back, I long for this pizza. When I visit, I do my best to eat here. It's not quite a neopolitan style, not quite traditional NY style, but an in-between that shares the best aspects of both. Super thin crust, fresh mozz, basil... The classic Margherita is the way to go, the pure experience. You'll eat 5 slices before you even realize it. The decor is cozy and warm with brick walls and a wood fired oven in the back. (the pasta is good too).

I am Italian and although I am used to NY pizza, it does not taste like original Italian pizza. Europa is the ONLY place I have found where the pizza tastes like pizza back in Italy!! The ingredients taste different, they are imported from Italy, that is what the pizza maker told me, they cook pizza in a real oven with the slow burning log inside, not sure what it is called but that is how it is in Italy!! If someone asks me where to eat good pizza this is the only place I recommend. This is my go to place for real Italian Pizza.

We love this restaurant! It has great Italian food. We really loved their bruschetta!! We also recommend the minestrone soup and the penne a la vodka. We usually come during the week and it's never too busy. Service is good. They have such beautiful plants surrounding the restaurant, it's beautiful. We'll keep coming back.

Absolutely delicious wood-fired pizza in a cozy old school space. The staff is incredibly friendly and truly make you feel welcomed. Highly recommend the alla vodka pizza. Perfect sauce, thick cut pancetta, creamy melty mozzarella, and tasty mushrooms & peas. Overall just a perfect slice on a crispy crust.

Highly recommend – TORTELLINI DAVINCI (tortellini with sautéed shrimp + mushrooms in a pink sauce. Skip – the baked clams (VONGOLE OREGANATA) left much to be desired. It was coated with an offputting amount of breadcrumb mix that eclipsed the clam. Try – the mussels cooked in white wine sauce (COZZE LUCIANA) were better than the clams Our second trip featured two kinds of pasta— ravioli with ragu meat sauce and linguine alla vongole (clams in garlic & white wine sauce with linguini). They were both satisfactory. The dining area is spacious enough that we could enjoy privacy while also people-watch. The consistent and prompt service made both our two trips here a pleasant experience.

Great brick oven pizza in the Bensonhurst area! Both of the pizzas that we had were delicious, my favorite was the Europa. The mussels and the linguine with clams were very fresh! The penne alla vodka was the best penne I've had in a long time - the penne was perfectly al dente and the sauce was very good. Our server was super attentive and very accommodating, we asked to move to a larger table after we were seated and they were very helpful! I can't believe I've never been here before - the food is very good and the service is incredible. I'm glad to have such a good and friendly Italian restaurant nearby!
