Quite place until 8pm when live music starts, but on both my visits i left before that time. Beverages & appetizers tasty & cool looking like most desserts (on my last visit tiramisu cake had ice between layers). But main problem is main dishes. If you ask about shrimps - they cooked perfect like other seafood also, but most meat was uncooked well. I ordered shrimps both times so i was perfect except my tiramisu cake, but my family wasnt so lucky with ordering meat which had some raw pink part when it was order like "well done".

Outstanding place. Very beautiful decorations inside. You can choose the table where you would like to be seated. The food is very fresh and delicious. Waiter is very polite and gives great suggestion about the food. Everything is behind the curtain. You feel like you have a privacy for yourself. Any food that will come to your table, will be mouth-watering... it’s a real fairytale...

A few weeks ago I attended a wedding at the Skazka and was so happy with how the reception went. The room was large enough to accomodate our large party, in both room for dancing and for eating. We were given our dinner by very professional servers. Given in multiple courses, my mouth waters just thinking about how well seasoned and fresh all of the entrees, salads, and appetizers were. Overall, the room was classically decorated and our service was so professional. I would love to come back for another celebration or meal. Highly recommended ❤️🎉

We've been there many times. Celebrate our kids wedding, my husband big Birthdays. Always food is very very good, taste great, great presentation, good attentive service. Music - different story . Yesterday we celebrate our relative bday on the first floor. Everything was great, but music. It's even hard to explain, but the way they play song it's start one song, then you realise that it kind of different one playing and then was the first one and everything was in one song. Some song was very good - have to be honest, but should be much better. But overall- very positive.

What I love about this place is that it's unassuming. I passed it by hundreds of times and always wondered what they served. Well one rainy evening I stumbled in with two of my friends. I'm glad I did. The service was affable, the food homey and delicious. Very deep flavors. We got some comp dishes and I really like the seats with drapes and all. The art on the wall gives great personality to the place and sorta transports you away from Brooklyn and to some faraway place you only read about. I gave it a 5 star rating cuz there was no AC. While I don't mind , there should be aof cold air when you enter a place especially in the summer.

I do not understand how can anyone give this place a bad review. The place, the food, the service and the music are absolutely fantastic. We were a huge group of people having a Christmas Party in December of 2014, and everything was absolutely perfect. The food was outstanding, so was the service. The music was so great that on a weekday we danced until 1:30 am. The food presentation was superb, to say the leas,t and each and every dish, be it meat or seafood tasted amazingly. I will be having another party there soon so stay tuned for more reviews. My advice for all the competition out there is to stop being such sore losers and posting bad reviews. Skazka is definitely the place to have a party be it small or big, you will get the same special attention.

Attended a Russian wedding yesterday night and the place is fantastic! Food was amazing and different from other Russian food that I have tried. On the basement there is a coat check room and the bathrooms.The second floor has a good sound system to play wedding/birthday music, a dance floor and wonderful singers. Pro-amazing food, great dance floor, great service Con- very pricey so be prepared for the cost

Just had my wedding on March 9th at this beautiful, stunning place. Nice service, reasonable prices, awesome, delicious food, extremely gourmet serving of food. The owner of the restaurant is adorable and very easy to work with. They can make it with any budget. Strongly recommended!!! My phone is ringing non-stop and all i hear is the only thing about how wonderful and tasty Skazka Restaurant was.
