This place is incredible. The food was so tasty, so well priced. Place is super cozy and relaxing. But what really made the experience was the waitress Day. She was so kind and helpful, very attentive. Because of the great food and service we will definitely be coming again

Was there on Saturday with my family. Everything’s 10 out of 10. Server Lisa was super friendly and attentive , she provided such a good service. The food was amazing. I had fettuccine with short rib and it was easily the best pasta I’ve ever had! Place was pretty busy and it was super noisy for us, but we didn’t have to wait long. I’ll definitely be there this weekend.

Excellent home-cooked Italian food in a casual restaurant/café atmosphere. Small inviting restaurant with a good feeling. The seafood risotto was unbelievable and highly recommended.

It is one of the best unexpected discoveries of Bay Ridge. I was looking for a place to eat on Easter all the " Popular" places were closed or too busy. A gentleman man at a bus stop of 76 recommended this place. I was a bit reticent at first. However, I convinced my friend to give it a go. Let me tell you, it was one of the best decisions ever. The service was superb, the food was out of this world. My friend, who is quite a finicky eater, ate all her food quietly. She was speechless. I enjoyed my steak, which was cooked to perfection with the chimichuri sauce. The Brussel Sprouts were other worldly. The only improvement needed is the wine selection. They need to add some Cabernet Sauvignon to the list. Other than that, I think my friend and I have found our good to place. I intend on trying everything on the menu

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner last night at Piccante. It’s a very small and charming restaurant. We both had their delicious home made pasta. I had it with seafood. My wife with eggplant and cheese. We will come back with friends.

This place if fannntastic. My fiance and I have been here 3 times so far and the food is delicious! We started with grilled pesto calamari and the apple walnuts goat cheese salad then for main dishes we had pasta ragu, chicken parmasean, beef lasagna, and gnocchi with spicy sausage (there was 4 of us lol) and finally for dessert we had terimisu and volcano something (forgot the name, sorry). Everything was cooked to perfection and it's all very reasonably priced for the quality of food and portions. I honestly love this place and am so happy we stumbled upon it! We'll be coming back for more!

It is a small family restaurant. But the attention was quick. Even we saw only one person handling the tables. The food was homemade delicious 😋. Definitely I want to come back and try the delicious rissoto this time.

Ate here for the first time tonight and was blown away at how good the food was. There's a lot of good Italian food in Brooklyn, but Piccante is by far the best. Everything is homemade from scratch, the staff is incredible and I would pay twice what they charge for the food. It is an experience. We ate the shrimp, mushroom pasta dish in a white wine sauce, chicken Masala, and butternut squash ravioli. It was all incredible.

Nice Italian place in Bay Ridge. Good wine collection, but the wine is too overpriced compared to the retail. The polenta with mushrooms and the spinach ravioli was great.

You might miss this quaint little place if you're walking by in a hurry. Having exhausted the local favorites (Vesuvio, Lombardo's, etc.) we stumbled across Piccante while strolling down 3rd Ave one evening. The place was warm, homey and dimly lit. We were very satisfied with what we ordered. The food was fresh, well-seasoned and had a good balance of flavors. We ordered the prosciutto with mozzarella and fig glaze as our appetizer and for mains, the spinach-ricotta ravioli and seafood spaghetti. Will be back for their salads, risotto as well dessert. Space is tight so if you decide to come in during a busy time, I'd suggest making a reservation. Note that the beverages menu includes only beer and wine.
