Proper Uzbek food! Samsas, lagman soup, and kebabs are all delicious. And of course the plov (pilaf) is fantastic. Given the quantity and quality of food this place is also pretty affordable. Their homemade fruit punch (Compot) is really great as well.

Ordered take out for first time last night and we were blown away. The food was fresh, delicious and priced moderately. The Pilaf with Lamb was outstanding (the lamb was so tender and the rice was so flavorful). Their French Fries were coated with a savory garlicky flavor and it was seriously the best fries I’ve ever tasted. The Cheburek with minced lamb was also pretty darn delicious. Only reason why I’m giving one less star is because it took forever to get our food but other than that, it’s definitely worth the long wait.

The food is good, but that's If you like Uzbek food. Personally I can eat some dishes, but I don't like many of their seasonings, especially the smell.

The food is good, service as well. The only thing, there is a different place in the menu, not Chorsu Samarkand. Looks the same for people who are not from Uzbekistan. But if your guests are from Samarkand, they immediately notice that it’s not Chorsu.

Service is always extremely slow. But, delish food. Best lamb ribs ever! Salads & appetizers are delish. Soups I don't recommend. You can also bring your own drinks as they don't have much. English is not their first language either..

UZBEKISTAN 🇺🇿 Eat the World NYC review: Literally meaning "four streams" in Persian language, but signifying a crossroads, "chorsu" is the perfect name for this establishment at the intersection of Kings Highway and McDonald Avenue and the F train. Named after the famous bazaar in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, you can expect portions of all cuisines enjoyed in the country to be here. Uzbek food in Brooklyn can sometimes be hit or miss, but usually hits the spot even when the meal does not wow. Thankfully this meal was a hit and did a lot of wow-ing. Our table of four went for a bit of everything, Uzbek favorites mixed with Russian items, Korean-influenced fish, and even a Greek salad. Chorsu Samarkanda had been on my to-do list forever, glad we finally stopped in to enjoy it. BYOB.

My favorite uzbeky place. I'm from Uzbekistan and this place is the best. I've been coming here since they were across the street and much smaller. For a while a few years ago their food dipped in quality but I think it had to so with the owner/chef conflict. The main chef is back now and the food has returned to top notch. Only complaint is the salads-vegetables aren't always ripe so it doesn't taste great. But no one comes here for the vegetables. The kebabs are terrific. Plof, mantu, even their garlic French fries are very good-just be sure to ask for extra garlic on the fries
