I almost didn’t want to write this review because I would like to gatekeeper how wonderful they are and fear that this will become a restaurant that flocks of people run to. I went here this past Saturday night for a large group dinner and the Have & Meyer staff really went above and beyond. From the moment we walked in the door, we were blown away. From the ambiance, the setup, the decor, the food, the service, the delicious cocktails and homemade food… I have no words. It was such a lovely evening. They really really went above and beyond and it has to be one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in nyc AND with such a large group. Thank you Have & Meyer Team!! There was also a live jazz band that really just put the evening at max 🥹😍
First time dining here. Quaint little space with soft lighting and music. The food was delicious and the drinks were well made. Very good service with knowledgeable explanations of the wines available. If you love wine, there's an extensive wine collection on site. Great place for a romantic date.
This is such a cozy, romantic spot that transports you to Europe. The service is great, we were able to try a few different wines and the staff gave a background on each one - almost like a wine tasting! The charcuterie board lives rent free in my mind, the bread was delicious. We shared a few pastas and desserts, and we enjoyed them all. This is definitely somewhere I’d return to for a special occasion or a date night. (Dined here in October 2021)
Small cozy restaurant with amazing wine list and food. Portion sizes are large. I love their decor and theme. They have outdoor seating with heating and blankets for everyone. The space is a bit tight but it’s manageable. The servers are very helpful and they helped me sample a few wines before I picked one. Dessert is point on and perfect. They do have a decent cocktail list, but I would prefer their wines. Also, try to reserve a seat inside. It’s a pretty setting. This place did get crowded by 8pm.
We had our wedding reception in Have & Meyer’s private room and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience! Daniela and team did a fantastic job and every single aspect of the night was perfection. The space blew us away - the decor was magical and made us feel like we were in a magazine spread…candles, gorgeous centerpieces, a Christmas tree - all included at a very reasonable price per head. We never waited for a drink and the meal was paced exactly right. Every pasta dish was fantastic and the desserts received rave reviews. We cannot recommend Have & Meyer enough for any special occasion. Beyond this event, we regularly come for dinner and are never disappointed. Thank you again for making the best day of our lives even better!
Came with my wife for a special occasion and I had a really nice Carbonara, wine selection was also really great. Our server Alejandra was really pleasant and helpful, we were happy with her wine recommendation as we wanted to try something different and special. Was recommended this restaurant a few times by friends and we’re glad we finally tried it, I’m sure we’ll be back.

Have & Meyer is a beautiful charm and the ambience is lovely. I went on a Thursday evening and it was pretty packed. It’s good to see people out dining again.
The drinks were delicious and the serving size was good. The service was lovely - staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.
The food wasn’t stellar but it was good and well made for the part. Some dishes were a little salt heavy- but salt sensitivity is different for everyone.
This was my second visit to Have & Meyer and overall - a lovely dining experience.

I cannot believe I have lived around the area for so long and only now I have noticed this place. My only complaints are that what they call "gnocchi" are actually "pallotte" and the Negroni I ordered was a bit too sweet and didn't have much alcohol in it, but besides that, this was by far one of the best dinners I have had in NYC so far.
The food and wine selection is simply outstanding, everything was executed to absolute perfection down to the smallest details. The combinations are gorgeous, powerful, and tasteful.
The service was also extremely good, friendly and attentive, never overbearing. And last, the restaurant is so beautiful and romantic, the old school vibe makes it even more charming and elegant. I was lucky enough to go on a Wednesday, when they have a super good jazz quartet play during dinner.
People here are complaining about the prices, but they clearly have no clue about how expensive and refined some of the items on the menu are when purchased from a distributor/producer. Frankly, I thought that charging an extra $24 for almost 500gr of freshly hand cut pata negra prosciutto was a bit low. And the whole presentation of that tagliere justified all of the money anyway.
I will most certainly go back soon and I will recommend this place to every person I know. An absolute gem.
