they easily one of my favorite vegan spots in brooklyn.. their fried pickles are so on point. also if youre lucky enough to catch them when they have their hen of the wood special, do not pass it up.. i still dream about it ✨

We tried the BBQ and the Philly. They were both SPICY, so just make sure you are ok with that first unless obviously you are into spicy food. It was overall great customer service, DELICIOUS food and everything pretty clean. If in the area again, definitely trying it again and they have sweet food options as well.. I saw chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon buns on the counter! I wish I could have tried them, but was way too full.

Small and simple menu but very tasty. Great pickled vegetables, especially brussel sprouts. Too salty though. Banh mi was a good sandwich but very different from a banh mi (no pickled carrot or daikon, almost no cilantro).

Absurdly delicious and creative vegan fare. Seriously, can't stop thinking about the salad (yes salad) I got weeks ago. Definitely worth the trip out to BK on a weekday when they're open.

Incredible flavors. The bahn mi sand which was amazing. Definitely get a side of fried pickles because they are the bombbbb. All vegan too!

The avocado salad was incredible; the tofu was a great texture and flavor. Quick and good service, esp because I showed up 20 mins before closing.

If you didn't know it was there you would miss it but the pickle shacks is probably the best vegan option in the area in terms of price and quality. The food they make is decadent and indistinguishable from their non vegan forms. Not a lot of sitting room but ive been told they have a patio I simply haven't been to yet.

My husband's relatives were visiting and, being that one needed a vegetarian menu, we decided to check out this local spot. It was a perfect choice for everyone. I loved the veggie burger.

Dogfish Head Brewery bar - get the 120 Minute IPA. It's expensive but really worth it. Pickled everything here. Bartenders are friendly and service is quick, and they're basically beer geeks so that is fun. The space is really cool - feels like a more modern tavern.

I enjoyed my dining experience here --- once for a random snack and once for brunch. The veggie burger is delicious. I enjoy the mushroom-based burger; I added the maple cheddar but unnecessary. I also need to highlight the delicious fries that comes as an extra side for the burger --- crispy, well-seasoned. The restaurant offers great selections of craft beer (reasonably priced too, $6 for 60-minute Dog Fish).
