Good solid Indian food, nothing fancy but home-cooked and authentic taste. The only disappointment was the non-which might have sat a while waiting for the food. Otherwise excellent.

Recently visited - 100% satisfaction. Very tasty Indian food: ordered coconut and lentil soup and Tikka Masala and one vegetarian meal - all perfect (and for great price). Good location, clean environment, really friendly and caring staff (permanent water refill, free snack and dessert - that were also really good).

This place is my favorite in Bay Ridge. I never expected to be so shocked by how they treat you like family. Eat a second time here and they remember you 2 months later. They give you more than enough for 2 people with only 1 person ordering. They invested into inviting you into their culture when you walk in, and it's clean warm and friendly. The staff seemingly has little to no turnover. Go here, for 20 years please. I never evem knew I liked Indian food at all. The food at Taj Mahal is amazing and the workers there are very quick to fill your glass of water and are very kind. It was my friends birthday and they had disco lights and music while they brought out free dessert! HIGHLY recommended even for low spice tolerance!

I order twice a month since a year in this restaurant and I have never been disappointed. The food is good and always come with a delicious soup.

Great staff very attentive, food was delicious and prices were very very reasonable. Would go back sorry no pictures of the food but good presentation. We had the Lamb Vindaloo it is spicy and the Lamb Bhona was deliciously seasoned. The garlic bread was baked to perfection.

Beautiful decor, servers were very attentive are glasses we’re never empty they continued to fill them which I loved! The chicken vindaloo was spicy but I loved it, we also got chicken tikka which was mild the chicken was tender and delicious. Garlic naan was huge and can be split between two people! At the end of the meal they gave us rice pudding All in all we had a great experience will definitely be back!
