Had brunch. Biscuits and gravy is awesome. So is the apple pie with coconut kefir. Don't bother with the bland huervos rancheros, I had to put the biscuit gravy on it to make it palatable. The pancake is also very good for being both vegan and gluten free. I will be returning for sure.

My vegan friends are always trying to get me to try new restaurants with them, and I'm always hesitant because I don't feel like putting tons of money down for a mediocre food experience. Enter Sun in Bloom, a cute little place that does gluten-free treats and vegan eats. I ordered their pancakes and was not at all disappointed. At first I thought that vegan pancakes would probably come out to me like hockey pucks - dry and without flavor or texture. These pancakes were perfectly light and airy! I also tried one of the ice cream sandwiches made with Tofutti "ice cream." I was also surprised by how much the flavor and texture resembled a real ice cream sandwich. The best part was that I didn't feel gross or heavy after eating my meal here. I felt really healthy and energized. The waiter was OK. Nothing special stood out to me in terms of service (the food came out in a reasonable time, but it wasn't anything noteworthy). The food, however, was spot-on.

Great vegan restaurant. It's a little noisy because there are hardwood floors and the walls are tile and brick. The music is played a little too loud... but this is a great health conscious restaurant. I always eat here when I'm in the neighborhood. The prices are a little more than a regular restaurant, but on the low side for a good vegan restaurant.

The place it self is beautiful. I tried the tempeh reuben and I have to say it was just Ok, but I think that tempeh usually is very simple and plain. The dessert, in the other hand, was wonderful: blueberry cheese cake. Also delish (and expensive) watermelon juice. Everything was vegan and kosher. They also have raw and gluten free options. Service was nice.

I found this place randomly in my search for a vegan brownie to satisfy my intense chocolate cravings. No brownies here, but they recommended the mini chocolate peanut butter cupcake and just YES. It was amazing. It's a pretty dense little thing that gave me that brownie type satisfaction. The food there looks great but I haven't tried it yet I will be back to try that lasagna. Excellent customer service.

Sun In Bloom is an excellent vegan restaurant. It is a great restaurant period. We went there for lunch and had a great experience. There were three in our party and each of us had an amazing meal. Everything was light and fresh. At the end of your meal you won't feel stuffed and bloated. You're going to feel like you had a great meal but will still feel light. It is a perfect example of good vegan food that doesn't rely on gimmicks like trying to imitate meat. It also doesn't go heavy on the oil like some vegan places. Sun In Bloom has a nice, airy interior that is very inviting. It is especially nice on a sunny day. The service we received was friendly and attentive. Along with V Spot, Sun In Bloom gives Brooklyn a couple amazing vegan restaurants.
