Yum yum delicious burek, got both meat and spinach, very good!

The spinach and cheese burek is extraordinary. When it comes fresh out of the oven, its a explosion of flavor and warmth. We also had the cheese burek - also tasty but perhaps not as much as the spinach and cheese one. The place has a limited menu (including homemade yogurt) but each item on the menu is super delicious. The folks at the counter are very kind and friendly. If you are ever in the area visiting the Bronx zoo or the Botanical gardens, this is definitely the place to grab dinner. The place is tiny with around 5 tables and very bare-bones decor, but the bureks are worth it. They are $5 each. A whole burek pie costs $20.

Burek is good just when it’s fresh! Staff is super friendly except the blonde lady with glasses, she’s is really rude. Every time when she is serving I don’t feel welcomed, I don’t know why she is always angry and talk bad about everyone . Place is clean!
