Every Monday night, Beautiful Minds Unite host “The Stagebox” where beautiful minds and upcoming artist come and present their pieces (poem, spoken word, dance, rap, sing etc) to the audience. Everyone is welcome, they only charge $5.
Mott haven have cheap drinks at this time and they have vegetarian options on their menu ( black beans quinoa burger, a number of salads, rice, spinach, sweet potato fries, loaded nachos without the bacon, falafel wrap, flatbreads and a few more options). Certainly a nice little spot to hang out!!! Have been here multiple times.

While I was in NYC, a friend of mine invited me here. He told me it is one of the famous food places in Bronx. It was for sure - I loved my chicken and waffle order which was one of the speciality of the cafe. Apart from that I totally loved the graffiti inside the place. My friend ordered the bronx burger and it was really good.
The service was nice - loved the cool music played by the dj.

Pretty neat spot. Drinks are good and the nachos are delicious. The service there could be better. Some of the waitresses are rude and are in no mood to help the customer.
