I love this place. I had visited around 5 years ago and on my most recent trip was desperate to try and figure out where we went. Phew! Found it! Last night my friend and I had an amazing dinner. I got the lobster which was delicious. Cocktails, desert and the service were all incredible. Among my favorite things however, I just love the atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.
I recently visited Union Ouster House, and I was pleasantly surprised by the charming atmosphere that echoed an old story. The food was delicious, bringing a taste of tradition to every bite. The nostalgic ambiance paired with excellent dishes makes it a four-star experience worth savoring.
One thing is about our shrimp entree, it was pretty bland taste of it. Needed a little extra seasonings.

When you first walk you instantly notice the beautiful authentic decor which really sets the mood. After being seated we were instantly greeted by the inviting staff. I decided to try their most famous plates. The flavors were amazing. I will definitely be back to try some more ones. My significant other also loved the beer selection! A great experience.
When there while on a conference and I must say it was an amazing atmosphere. The oysters were really fresh and the staff was incredibly friendly. We got great recommendations from the bar tender about local beers and I must say the clam chowder was very nice. It really warmed us up. The place also has lots of history and if you go to the second floor, there’s rooms with art and antiques. Simply amazing
12.16.23 Heard so much about how great the food was so we had to try it. Place was really busy so we sat at the bar which offers full menu. Drinks and food came out fast. The clam chowder was amazing.
Great foods indeed. Really nice atmosphere, too. Osyter was really good and fresh! And the steak was surprisingly good, too. It was nice looking around the walls, showcasing historic pictures and ornaments. Service of the waiter was good, but front lady was not friendly when she was greeting us. But overall is good place to visit.
1st time here and our waiter Chris made it a fantastic experience. The clam chowder was creamy and delicious, the lobster stuffed ravioli and cream sauce were fantastic. The oysters were delicious, my husband had 18. He the smaller ones(forgot the name.. cape cod ones). My lobster roll was chunks of delicious goodness. The extra butter made it even better.
This place is amazing. The staff is amazing they are courteous and will accommodate all your needs. First time came at night had corn bread and corn clam chowder soup and catch of the day broiled. Next day lunch time had a lobster roll with blackened catch of the day. Super tasty and just great food. My hubby doesn’t like seafood but loved our plates. Must come here to eat. And the atmosphere is amazing!!
I had the house chowder and broiled scrod with mashed potatoes. It was so delicious and fresh tasting. My wife had the shrimp and scallops over rice. The sauce was amazing. We also shared some fresh oysters that were unbelievable. Great spot with lots of history. I would absolutely recommend checking it out for a great dinner with your family and/or friends!
Lobster Mac & cheese was amazing! It was on their specials menu. Also had the sangria, amazing! Tried an oyster for the very first time here, it was interesting, but I didn’t hate it. There’s a garage nearby for parking, but it was $16 and you can get it validated if you’re there under 3 hours. Everyone in my party liked their food. The place is very heavy on the fish smell, but expected obviously. Really neat rooms with cool wall hangings. Highly recommend a reservation!!
