Staying in Black Mountain for a few days and it didn’t take much research to figure out that we had to try the Blue Ridge Biscuit Company out. Read review after review on wait times, but our experience was nothing of the sort. Ordered immediately, food came out in great time, and the FOH was as nice and kind as they come. The food was just as good as we could have imagined from the reviews. With such great service to complement the AMAZING dishes and the great small town feel of the restaurant, I would certainly say to anyone in the area.... Find Time and enjoy this little gem of a place. Definitely worth a short wait, as is any great eatery.

Long wait to get thru the door. But worth it! Yum yum yum. Btw, best iced dirty chai latte I’ve ever had. They need to expand to a bigger building. Would get even more business with how good they are.

Best breakfast ever contender. The Smokey Mountain Brook biscuit is the breakfast I’ve always been looking for. A huge perfect biscuit top with smoked trout spread to satisfy the unique portion of the breakfast topped with a perfectly cooked poached eggs topped with tomato jam to keep the savory bite going. You have to try this

Absolutely love getting breakfast here when in town. Everything is always so good. My favorite is the Seven Sisters plate! The grit cakes are mouthwatering. I love the collection of mugs for the delicious fresh hot coffee too. I always buy a bag of the breakfast blend.

Great breakfast/brunch place. You order at the counter and then find a seat and take a table tent. Very casual. Great food. Staff is friendly.

Gigantic and delicious! Plain biscuits are buttery and soft. Also had the grey beard which had fried chicken fingers, fried Green tomatoes, arugula, and homemade honey mustard on a biscuit. Each component was delicious. Would definitely recommend! It is small and very busy

OUTRAGEOUS breakfast spot. We come here at least once a year on an annual trip to Black Mountain. This place is a must try. Never had a bad thing here. Be warned, it gets busy so get here early or be prepared to stand in line for a few minutes (it moves fast).

We camped locally for 3 nights, and got breakfast, every day. I opted for “light” yogurt and homemade granola - it was my lunch, too! Huge for a “light” portion. Sometimes the granola was whole, BIG, chunks - other mornings itty crumbles, but both tasted great. No pics of my husbands biscuit and sample meals, they went too fast 🤣

Must do; The biscuits and sausage gravy are beyond compare! The gravy reminds me of Thanksgiving (tastes of sage maybe 🤔). I recommend trying some of their homemade jam--I had blueberry and it was magnifico!

Hands down, one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the Black Mountain Bennie…they had run out of gluten free biscuits and offered to put it on a GF waffle and it was absolutely amazing. Staff was quite friendly and accommodating. Would absolutely be regulars if we were locals.

Super cute little place! It’s very popular so you have to wait (line goes outside) to order. They won’t let you order until there are seats available for your party. Great selection of pastries, biscuits and other breakfast meals. Excellent customer service too! The only complaint I have is that after waiting so long to get my food (30 minutes in line) that my gravy biscuits were not hot and my cafe mocha was not hot..lukewarm at best. I did completely enjoy the chocolate croissant and will definitely go back for that!

We were looking for a Sunday spot for breakfast and Blue Ridge Biscuit Company came up on my search. The photos posted were enticing enough to make us want to check it out. When we got there around 9:45 there was a line out the door. Since we hadn't been there before, we didn't know their system, but it looked like counter service with food brought to the tables, from what we could see through the window. The line basically didn't move for about 15 minutes, but as people exited, it started flowing again. Once we realized they were controlling the flow of orders based on the tables available, the line made more sense. Anyways, on to the food. The biscuits were fresh, the sauces and gravys were excellent, and the waffle was fluffy and tasty. I had the smoky mountain Brook biscuit which had a smoked trout dip, dill cream cheese sauce, and tomato jam. You could taste the fish, but the flavor was not overpowering, and the dill sauce and tomato jam were perfect. My poached egg was soft and finished off the biscuit perfectly. My friend ordered the lookout biscuit, but got pimiento cheese instead of cheddar which was a great substitution. The service was friendly and efficient. I absolutely think that the food was worth the wait, although I'm hoping to try it on a weekday sometime when the line isn't so long!
